Customer Reviews

Do not place people prone to falls in this facility. There is no direct observation. Even when asked to place in front of nurses station. They go about doing other activities and leave the area. Can do a better job with sitters. Falls may not be preventable but certainly reduced when under observation. No assistance with toileting when requested.

Love our experience

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is clean and very home like. I would highly recommend this facility. Our loved one receives the attention they deserve.

This facility is sub par is many areas. The cleaning staff is not properly trained or lacking in skill. The meals are starchy and fatty and not conducive to good health or good taste. Meals are not served to clients when they are too ill to get to the dining hall. They are left to fend for themselves. The nursing staff is uncaring, does not pay attention to the feelings or ills expressed by the residents; rather dismisses them with aspirin or "drink water".
The air quality is horrendous in this building I visit a resident and have difficulty breathing once inside. Since the clientele of this facility are elderly and usually have health issues, air quality and food quality and nursing care are of maximum concern.
Care of the common ground is inadequate. Complaints must be made several times before concerns of residents are even acknowledged not to mention addressed.

From the Community

Sometimes you have to stop living on your own to achieve greater independence. The staff of St. Mary’s understands this and has created a warm, caring environment where residents are given the support they need to get the most out of life. Leaving behind the worry, isolation, and dependence on others that sometimes comes with living alone, residents discover that leaving home for St. Mary’s can mean coming home to a more active lifestyle.
