Customer Reviews

Flexible Community!!

Activities are provided for the residents that would like to engage in them. The needs of the patients are unpredictable the caregivers have to adjust fairly quick. I really like the flexibility of the community if i want to add or minimize services for my mother i am able to. The meals are excellent. The community is kept wonderfully cleaned.

A place for Mom however not necessarily for Dad

My father has lived here for two years now. Activities are very poor for men. My Dad has many interests and likes visiting with others, however he is not a Bingo person or bridge player. He isn't interested in baking together in the commons kitchen. It would be nice to offer good music events other than an accordian player with nothing but sleeping women in wheelchairs attending. The food is OK, nothing special. The price you have to pay, $11.00 for a guest meal is asking a lot for such a tiny amount of food. My Dad likes the people who work there and likes talking to them. His apartment is nice too. They keep it in good order too.

This Communitiy needs some improvement. The Staffing there is outstanding,
What this community needs is a more solid ground when it comes to improvement and changes. This Company does not know what they are doing from day to day.
Resident care is not on top of everybodys List.
At this point would I send my loved one there, most likely no!
Prices are good, but I would rather pay a few more Dollars to get good care.

Pretty ok facility

I think there should be more of activties...when you look at some of the Presbyterian homes in the area they have a lot more things that do. Otherwise, Mainstreet Village seems to be ok for my mom, but they could get out and do more with the residents.

My mother in law just moved in. She loves the tall windows and her south exposure with all the sunshine. She also says the food is delicious. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is great. Also like the on-premises PT. She is walking better since she got here. Lots of great closet space.

They are doing just fine. We have no concerns whatsoever. She is adjusting well and she likes the food, it's pretty good. It's kept clean, the people are friendly. It's all working out pretty well, so far.

I have toured twice. Probably closer than others, but not real thrilled

I think the place is really awesome.

It's really a good place for him to start interacting with other people. It's really clean and nice, and he's eating most of the meals. It's a little expensive, they do go around and check on him, but it is independent living after all. I think the place is really awesome. I like some of the other options like you can have the cleaning service come in and do a light cleaning, I can add services if I need to which is a great value. The van is awesome, they will take him if he needs to go somewhere, but he won't use it. I chose this because of the way the sliding scale is, if he starts to run out of money, they have programs so that we can keep him there.

Independent Living

My mother is in the independent living portion, in an apartment over there. The activites...there is card night with two tables and four people at each table so how do you get in on that? And there's movie night with a tv set up and about 3 people so there's not a whole lot going on for her. She's more active than a lot of them. Overall the facility is great. I think that maybe there could be a little bit more community building but I don't know how you go about doing that since these people are all independent and living in their own apartments and come and go as they please.

This is a nice place for seniors The apartments are large and roomy. Activities for the seniors appear to be plentiful. However, ambulatory patients were not as visible as the those in wheelchairs. Caregivers were also present for assistance with their patient. Would like to have seen more independent living patients.
