Review of Howard Village

2 years a resident I like the staff, the residents I have meals with, and my very spacious 1st floor apartment. It is a clean, well cared for community for the elderly.

Review of Howard Village

Excellent staff. One complaint is dining room seating

Review of Howard Village

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance and cleaning personal are great, front desk staff is great and always helpful.

Review of Howard Village

I have lived here for 7 plus years. The staff is very hard working and try to help and please. Many things have changed since I first moved here. The vending machines where you could get some essentials is gone and the bank that used to visit so you could get change is also gone. There are trips to Pick & Save but sometimes its difficult to make the trip both for me, others and occasionally the van! The food seemed better 7 years ago but my taste buds were too. It's a little hard to make friends - here one day gone the next - but I'm sure it's the same all over. I really appreciate having Mass provided and [name removed] tries real hard.

Excellent place. Great staff. Great living quarters

Review of Howard Village

I have my own apartment and am quite independent. I clean my own place & take care of it. Wash and dry my own clothes, often I go once to visit my son/daughter as other relatives on weekends. When I feel sociable I can go down to area and chat with others - participate in social activities. I eat one meal a day here. Food is always good!

Review of Howard Village

The overall view of things is very good.
Very helpful in all situations.

Excellent Facility

I have had the privilege to volunteer free services for residents at Howard Village over the past several years. Also attending special events and private and public visits with residents. During all of my visits, I experience a well run facility. All staff from the top down at Howard Village are very knowledgeable, warm and caring.
Working with residents and having many different conversations, I have never heard a complaint about their home at Howard Village. They all seem very content and happy in their living arrangements there.
I do not hesitate to recommend Howard Village to anyone who's in the need "to have a home away from home".
Their vast selection of activities and offerings to their residents is outstanding. It is always a blessing to see so many smiling faces at a senior living center.
With Gratitude and Respect,

Great experience

I have an elderly family friend I care for who moved to Howard Village several years ago. We originally picked HV for the range of services it provided. My friend moved in as an independent resident, but needed to transition to Assisted Living services after about two years - it was a relief to know that she could continue receiving an increased level of service without leaving the apartment unit she was originally placed in. The front counter and administrative staff are very friendly and helpful, and nursing/care staff are extremely attentive - I feel all staff members have taken the time to get to know my friend on a personal level and truly care about her well-being. They are very communicative with me as her caretaker, and have promptly addressed any concerns about my friend's welfare. The common areas of the building and grounds are clean and well-maintained. Maintenance staff has promptly addressed any minor repairs that have been needed. Most of all, my friend is happy there - that speaks volumes. All in all, a wonderful facility!

Thanks to all at Howard Village in St. Francis

My mother has been a resident at Howard Village for the past several years. It's a relief for our family that Mom doesn't have to leave the Village due to an increase in the level of services that she needs. She can be in familiar surroundings and be among familiar faces. She still has a fairly high level of independence, and the nursing services along with cleaning assistance ensure her comfort, and peace of mind for our family. Our thanks to all at the Village from the receptionists, the maintenance/cleaning staff, the kitchen staff and the nursing staff for all that you do so that Mom is looked after and is comfortable.

Great place.
