Customer Reviews

short staffed, VERY basic, rooms & common area very 'sterile' and institutional feeling. Did not have any handouts, information we could take except a very basic brochure that staff copied down prices into. When we asked about activities, we were told they do a bible study on Thurs afternnon' and nothing more. We are not at all interested here

Supervisor/Manager wasn't in, but was given a tour by a staff member. Several vacancies were available. Clean and pleasant facility.

My experience

This community looked ok when I visited. The staff I met were nice. This community just did not seem clean enough or the right place for my mom.

Great Private Rooms!!

My mother has her own room at this house that is spacious and perfect for her needs. The staff are friendly and make sure to attend to my mothers needs. They have a chef who prepares three different meals a day for them and a great dinning room experience. This facility has a "family" feeling. There is always room for some improvement but, so far, everything is going well and we are happy.

A place for care for a loved one

I toured this community for care for my mom.The staff was very nice and they were helpful for the questions I had on the care for my mom's need. This community was a little bigger then what I was looking for. I would recommend this community for other families for a value for care for a loved one.

A Nice Home But Not For Us

It was a good place to tour and all was okay with what they provide. There was not much to improve on their tour but this was not going to be the right fit. I noticed there was quite a bit of residents here and the carpet looked like it needed a little vacuuming.

I recently visited this facility and was very impressed with the looks of the facility. It is a small place and appeared to be very down to earth and homey. Staff was very freindly and interacted with other residents and staff. The menus for the meals looked really good and the meal that had that day looked wonderful and presented well. I highly recommend this facility.

Review of Country Oak Village-Grain Valley, Mo

My Mom,my sister and myself went here Tuesday. It was clean, dark in the lobby and a lot of people sitting in front of the TV starring off. My Mom was agitated while we were there and kept asking how much it was and kept repeating it was too much, she couldn’t afford it. I believe it was the atmosphere when we walked in that bothered her.

It’s really great because it’s a small place.

It’s really great because it’s a small place. My loved one loves the food. There is enough parking and there are outside areas for residents to enjoy. I’m glad we were able to find this place for my loved one.

Excellent staff

Just recently the owner of the palce has been doing cutbacks, it was really good when she got there but we've been seeing mroe and more cutbacks the past couple of weeks. Right now they have about 1 nurse for 25 people, we haven't had a problem, they're always there and the people who are there are really great, I just think they're overworked. The nurses do the laundry, they're doing a lot of different jobs besides nursing. With activities they have something almost everyday but it's pretty much the director that does it, I don't think they pay someone to come. It's better than a lot I've been to and the people who work there are why I put her there, it's also smaller so she ahs her own room. It's a good place, I'm glad I put her there
