Customer Reviews

[Removed] was wonderful and treated the residents like family. He was very engaging. The facility was nice but not a good fit for my aunt. The residents need to be able to go up and down the stairs and she is unable to do that.

Review of The Bristol Home Assisted Living in Buffalo, NY

Assisted living. Old Victorian building (from 1860s) with small rooms most without bathrooms. Not modern. Surprisingly expensive. Necessary services are available.

Facility was clean. There were scheduled meals and activities. Staff were cordial. I just didn't feel like it was the right place for my grandmother.

From the Community

Bristol Home has been taking care of Western New York Women since 1868. Recently, the Home was certified as a Licensed Assisted Living community, in a Person-Centered Care Environment. An Assisted Living Residence is a residence that has been approved by the New York Department of Health for licensure as an ALR (Assisted Living Residence.) An ALR residence is required to provide 24 hour on-site monitoring, personal care services within a home-like setting to five or more residents. Each elder at Bristol Home has a right to live their life on their schedule, which means that they can choose what time to get up, eat meals and participate in activities.
