Sad and lonely. Little encouragement for engagement between residents. The place has roaches and a strong smell to it.
Would not recommend
We toured this community when I was looking into care options for a loved one. I was not impressed by this facility at all. At the time of our visit they had gone through a lot of staff turnover, and nobody during our visit seemed particularly friendly or invested in the community. I could not recommend this place.
I saw them ignore her until they realized that I was there.
When I came in and would get the feeling that they act different when you weren't there, that the staff didn't like her. I saw them ignore her until they realized that I was there. Mom would be crying and I could tell that some of them didn't like her. Some of them would snap at her. The director was the same way to me. I could tell she wasn't being as docile as he would have liked. I would not recommend them at all. .
Average at best.
Cost the same as local homes. Doesn't have many activities that I saw. There was a freaky man with a coffee mug and the grin of Batman's Joker following us around. People seemed to be herded around. The staffed seemed nice.

Smaller and Not As Well Maintained
We looked at this one but it seemed less well maintained and a bit smaller than our other option. The people were genuinely friendly but they didn't impress me as much as the staff at the other place.
