Tour for a friend

We toured this community. We were happy with the caring staff that could answer the questions on the care that is received. The community is clean and they have a nice dining area. The residents were offer activities. This is a small community and we wanted something a little bigger. We would suggest this community to other families for the care of a loved one with a good value.

Welcoming smaller facility set back in the woods. Good options for activities and trips out for the day. Rooms were good size.

Friendly, competent staff

So far our experience with Magnolia Manor has been a very positive one. In addition to being very professional and competent, the staff is warm and welcoming and they obviously genuinely care about the seniors that they work with.

Highly recommend to anybody!

It has been a great transition for our loved one at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living. It is a wonderful facility and feels like home! The dining room is always a nice experience and the residents get to really know each other. The staff have been very welcoming and accommodating to ensure my loved one receives the care that they need.

Nurse picks Magnolia Manor for Uncle

I placed my uncle at Magnolia Manor after we took a tour with Barbara ,the Chief Executive Officer. Barbara invited us to stay for lunch, and we did. We had some delicious homemade eggplant Parmesan. That sold my Uncle.

We both found Magnolia Manor had all the qualities and activities we were looking for.

He has been there 3 mos. and is very happy. He has a lovely room that is bright and cheery, plenty of activities to keep him busy, a friendly and caring staff, and delicious homemade food

Picking Magnolia Manor was a no brainier.

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE, HOSPITABLE, CARING AND PROFESSIONAL,

My uncle Eddie has been in this facility for a number of years. I live in the Midwest and had not been able to visit prior to this last weekend. Upon arriving at this beautiful building, I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of this assisted living home. I found all of the staff to be very kind, loving and caring to my uncle who is suffering from Parkinson's. The facility has quite of few different areas where the residents and their families can visit and spend time talking about old times. I must say that I was extremely impressed with how well decorated the facility is and how tastefully appointed the various areas are. It is possible to sit in rocking chairs in the front of the building, relax in the front sitting area, or even relax in the gorgeous screened in lanai. The second time that I went to go visit my uncle, I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara and Robin. I did not know who they were but they were beyond accommodating and welcoming! I later found out that they were the Executive Director of the Facility and the President! May God Bless these ladies for providing such a warm and loving environment for the residents to live in peace and harmony til the end of their lives. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone!

Love Magnolia Manor!

I have found Magnolia Manor to be everything it claims to be. It is always clean. Any concern I have about my mother is quickly addressed. Staff is always available and well trained. The food is truly home cooked. I eat with my mother at least once a week. My mom has been at Magnolia Manor since it opened and I would have her at no other facility. Robbin is a true professional and very good at her job. Barbara is there because she wants to be there and truly cares about each and every resident and their family.
I am sure you cannot please everyone, but they sure try. Would highly recommend Magnolia Manor.

They Have Done Everything Well

It seems like they have done everything pretty well at Magnolia Manor. I do not have any complaints about the place at all. My mom of course does not want to be there, but she doesn't have any complaints and she thinks it's a nice place.

Get her out of here

My mother Mary who was born in 1917, is a lovely, lively, energetic woman with pretty much full mental capacity but she is visually impaired, has arthritis in hands, is incontinent and in a wheelchair.
Mary went to Magnolia Manor two days a week for day care for over a year. The staff at Magnolia Manor alway seemed friendly and was not the issue.
Mary’s complaints were always the same, they do little if anything to engage people there, like exercise or activities and the food, Magnolia Manor’s add says home cooked food, it isn’t and most times not even warn sometimes still frozen in the middle.
My complaint was no one helped her most times when she went to the bathroom, soon after getting home after each visit to Magnolia Manor I would take her to the bathroom and either the pull-ups and sometimes her pants were not pulled up to even cover the crack of her behind. I would ask Mary if there was someone to help you to the bathroom, she would make excuses for why no one was available to help her, also in the bathroom they don’t even have a permanent alarm in place to call for help. With mom’s limitations it just is not safe for her to go to the bathroom by herself.
I called numerous times about the bathroom but nothing changed, I even had Mary’s insurance company call Magnolia Manor because of these unsafe practices. Barbara and her daughter Robbin rarely returned phone calls and mostly acted like they didn’t care.

Beautiful Property

The property at Magnolia Manor is beautiful and it is very well maintained. I would say that they do a good job of taking care of their residents. I really can not think of anything they can do differently.

Love this facility! They take great care of my MIL!

Weight off my shoulders!

I LOVE Magnolia Manor - My Dad has been a resident for about 3 years and am very pleased. I have toured many ALF's in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and rest assured I found the perfect fit - now - for BOTH of my parents! They keep it VERY clean, nutritious food for each meal, plus snacks. They have many in house activities and outings. They have a huge wrap around deck on a conservation lot - so beautiful and tranquil. A fireplace, Piano, Happy Hour weekly with live entertainment, etc. They also have their own bus to go to the store, movies, library, out to lunch, etc. Many of the residents family members have become like my own family. If you like the small, tranquil, comfortable feel, this place is for you. Doesn't feel like a facility, or nursing home at all... Because it's NOT!

They are doing fine, there aren't any concerns.

They are doing fine, there aren't any concerns. The food is good, she likes it, and I have tried it and it's good. Anything I ask about they respond to right away. The people are friendly and it's clean. I really don't have any complaints.

Very friendly staff and well maintained grounds, inside and outside. A little bit over priced because they charge to much for anything they consider to be extra...such as laundry and tv.

Wow! Great. But way too much costs... and seem to nickel and dime.

A Blessing from God

After reviewing several nice facilities, I was given the name of Magnolia Manors. When I drove up the drive I was impressed. After meeting the staff, I had finally found my mothers new home. The facility is spotless and the staff is like family. It is a beautiful home-like setting with lots of activities that mother loves. The staff at Magnolia Manors have made Mom's transition very comfortable. They take very good care of her. Highly recommended !
