Customer Reviews

Cannot take wheelchairs. While mom is does not use one yet, I think that might be a possibility in the future and I would hate to have to move her.

Nice, quaint, clean and homey. Very small community but not true CCRC.

Mom seems to like it

Mom seems to enjoy living here very well. She had adjusted quite well and is doing fine. Her living space suits her quite well. She is making some friends and is doing the activities they offer. She has not complained about the food so she must like it. The inside is maintained very they keep it very clean. The outside has sitting areas so in the nice weather residents and family can visit

Found The Best Fit In the Best Spot

This community worked out from the start. They are the most affordable for us and they moved us in right away. It has been good for my mom since she moved in. The community is nice and homey. I like that it is simple and not fancy. Everybody you meet is nice and
my mom likes. The plus is they are in the neighborhood she is familiar with and her church is nearby too. It was a good move.

Mothers respite stay.

Very good staff, accommodations, food and overall care. I would take my mother here again (she was very happy during her stay), I think that says it all.

My Friend Is Doing Well Here

My friend's experience with this community has been a good one. He stays in the independent portion. It is a clean community, they do a good job with the cleaning. Everybody has been very kind and friendly. There are many activities offered. The food is decent and the dining area is very nice. Everything is working out very well for my friend here at this community.

Wonderful residents, nice dining room, library, sunroom and front porch. Plenty of activities to keep loved one busy.

From the Community

Since 1898 the Friends Home has provided older adults quality care and housing at a moderate price.

Founded by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), the Home has a strong tradition of encouraging independence and respect for the individuality and dignity of each person.

Assisted Living

Assisted living offers older adults a comfortable, homey residence in an atmosphere that encourages independence and preserves individual dignity. Residents come to Assisted Living at Friend Home for a variety of reasons – they no longer want to maintain their own homes, they may need assistance with daily activities (meals, dressing, bathing, medications, etc.), or they may seek to live in an active, friendly community with their peers.

Due to its size and intimate atmosphere, Linden Hall is unlike many other nursing homes. Each resident is an individual who is known, cared about, and appreciated. Life in Linden Hall is truly a life among friends.
