Customer Reviews

Would recommend this Home to anyone

I am very well pleased with my choice at Mali's Personal Care Home. I could not have asked for any better. Mali is very knowledgeable in her field, all the caregivers are wonderful. Her place is picture perfect! I thank A Place for Mom for giving me the direction I needed and you were a life saver.

Mali's PCH cares for your loved one like one of their own!!!!

Mali and her team of caregivers really care for their clients and their loved ones. Mali brought my parent to the hospital and waited for me to meet her there before leaving the ER to return back to her staff and other residents. This is not what I experienced from another PCH in the past. Her team cares not just for your loved one but for you as well. She and her team have saved me and my child's sanity. Very gracious and kind. The facility and residents are kept clean at all times. They feed the residents well, monitor their medications and even help keep your loved one manicured and entertained.

Worth every penny!!!!! Definitely worth a visit and I truly recommend giving her a chance to provide a home for your loved one......

10/22/2013: All shared rooms in the AWESOME home! Mali recently added on a huge covered party pavilion with gazebos in the backyard for her residents and clearly loves them all. She is in this for the right reasons and her love of her residents shows. She has hired caregivers who have been with her 8-10 years. This home is beautiful and immaculate. All resident rooms on the main floor!

Mali's was a godsen

Everytime we went it was clean, the staff was friendly, my husband was very pleased at the support they recieved directly fom Mali when she had to go back and forth from the hospital. Mali would transport her without us having to take her in an ambulance and she would sit with her until my husband was able to get off work. She drove all the way, 2 and a half hours from her home to go to the service. All of our family members that went to visit her were so impressed with how clean it was. They had someone come in and do all the residents hair twice a month, Mali personally made sure that all of them were kept clean. When she was at the hospital she kept asking to go back home and when she got back she couldn't stop smiling and was so glad to be back.

Close to perfect

They're a four plus, I don't liek giving fives because nothing's ever really perfect but they're the next best. They're very very friendly, we're having hospice come in, the doctors and nurses come in and give him everything he needs. When my mother passed away my dad was really upset by that so they sat in the room with him during the nights. It costs more than we'd like but I realize to get what he needs we have to pay more. I would have liked to be around 4,000 but I also recognize the fact that my dad needs more care and of course they've got to pay for more medication too. They're taking good care of my father fortuntely because it's been hard. I just wish we had found them sooner. It's so clean, it's so nice and peaceful. It's a regular home and there aren't so many people there so when he gets better and stronger he'll be able to enjoy it more.

Mali was unable to assist, due to my husband's condition, the price went from $1600 to $3500. We are unable to afford this amount.

Knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and dementia

So far it's been going good. We choose Mali's Personal Home Care because the staff is very knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and dementia care. If our loved one requires more care Mali's will be able to take care of them when their needs switch. That was very important to us, to not have to move are loved one for additional care.

I really liked Mali. Very well educated on dementia issues. Very passionate about her work. Very clean environment. Extensive secure deck work out back for outside activities. Organic garden, fresh eggs from chicken coop in back, clothes lines for drying sheets, no 'day care only' offered. Does not deal with Medicaid. Uses practitioners for in house visits monthly. Spent one hour there.
