Customer Reviews

Common areas too small. Do not care for a tower setting. Older building.

For the Most Part All Is Well

For the most part my sister is doing well with her move to this community. The only issue she is having is they take a long time to help her get down to the dinner area. She is in wheel chair, and needs the help. Hopefully they can pick up the slack in that area. Other that that issue I do feel comfortable with her move to this community. They offer good activities, and provide nice meals for the residents. It is a work in progress, but overall this is a community I would recommend.

Great facility!

This was a fantastic facility when I toured! It looked very nice. I would have had no problem placing my loved one here!

Ocean View!!

I have no complaints about the stay my mother is having at this community. All of the staff have been wonderful to her and made sure she is comfortable in her new living environment. I can not say enough good things about the surroundings of this community. They have a lake you can see by just sitting in the chair in the courtyard as well as an ocean view a block away. It truly is a paradise for my mother and I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

People are wonderful but facility and rooms too small.

Very Nice Tour

We had a very good tour of this community. It is a very nice looking community. Everything was very well-kept. The staff was kind, and informative. All my questions were answered. The experience was a nice one.

Good group of people!

The staff here has been wonderful. My mother in law is trying to get involved with the activities. The community is always clean and neat. The staff is actually the reason why I picked this place out.

Friendly, helpful staff!

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with Francis Asbury Manor! The staff here is incredibly respectful and helpful, and I was really impressed by how we were treated throughout the whole process. The two girls we worked with in marketing really went above and beyond! And, now that she is moved in, our loved one really seems to enjoy it here!

Very nice place!

I think they do a wonderful job at Francis Asbury Manor. We only used them for a short respite stay, but I was very impressed by the level of service that they offer! The building is a little older, but the staff and amenities more than make up for it! The people here are absolutely wonderful, both the staff and the other residents. You can tell the employees really enjoy their jobs, which makes all the difference Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, and my loved one really enjoyed her time here.

treated my mother like a queen

Fromt he day that she arrived they have treated my mother like a queen. Before that she was at a place that was not good at all (terrible care, no attention, etc.) Francis Asbury Manor has been far better in every area. They treat her like a queen! They treat her with such dignity it brings tears to my eyes. The level of care they provide is outstanding. If you are looking for a great place to send your elderly loved ones, I would definitely check them out.

All around great place!

Everything is great, 5 star all around. They only thing going against them is the way their building looks. It is a little old looking, which may deter some people, but it is a great place.

The building was old, but clean and well kept.

I loved where it was. The area it was in. The building was old, but clean and well kept. She thought it was too dark for her. I liked it a lot though.

I really like the attitude they have

It would be nice if they could have the new residents buddy up with a more experienced resident, for the first month or so, just to ease the transition and show you around and what to do. She likes the food. We chose this community because of the staff and because it was a methodist based home, and the values they hold. I really like the attitude they have, I like the fact that should she ever run out of money she doesn't have to move and there is no difference in meeting her needs. It was great to find a place that could accommodate the in between spot, still mostly independent but not quite assisted living yet, that is hard to find. They have an assisted living floor also in case we ever need it.

it was OK. Nice location, huge bathroom, but really not set up with a kitchen area (no sink, fridge, microwave).
