Rude staff. Understaffed with rude staff. Ignore patient's requests. Patients push buttons for assistance, long response time. Falls have occurred in bathrooms with serious injuries to patients. Bugs in all the rooms. Bugs crawl on patients and staff agrees. Food left in rooms for patients and patients do not even know their food is there. Strong odors within hallways. very OLD building and rooms, water stained, rains outside, rains inside. Cracks in ceilings, dirt in vents. Partial heated rooms, some are cold. Hairdresser facility is filthy. MANY workers on cell phones instead of assisting patients right at the front desk. No coverage on weekend. Holidays, forget trying to get help. This place was supposedly built in 1976 and it loos like there has NEVER been an update or upgrade whatsoever. Very old. Very old furniture with old bed. Matts are disgusting under clean sheets. No place for visitors to sit except on beds of patients. Either one chair or no chair. Very unhappy staff which makes it uncomfortable for patients. You can walk through the hallway on days and patients will call out to you for help, even though you are not an employee there. Windows are filthy and have massive dirt and old webs in the screens. Bathrooms are shared sometimes with 4 patients using one bathroom and it is not cleaned as often as it should be when so many share the same toilet. This facility needs some serious improvements. One plus I can say is that the rehabilitation employees rate a 10 out of a scale from 1 to 10. They are compassionate and do such a great job with ALL their patients. What is sad is that once you go through rehab and then become long term, there is no more rehab, so all the strength you gained is lost and the patient is forgotten about. Laying in bed or in a wheelchair. Those that can walk can walk the halls, those who could, one transitioned, they can no longer have rehab. Patients go straight down hill and falls occur. Sad place and just as expensive as assisted living!!
