Dingy and Beat Up

It's skilled nursing. Would have rather put him in a spare bathroom. When you walk in it looks like a dirty old beat up hospital that was turned into a long term care. All of the staff was new, which is a huge concern. The lady that walked us around said that she had just started and didn't really know a lot about the place. It was dingy, commercial, all tile floors and long hallways like going into a hospital. There was nothing outside but a concrete patio. It was ugly.

They were horrible. I filed a complaint on them. While she was in their care, the very first day recovering from a broken hip, she was walking to the bathroom by herself. There was not enough staff. They would put the dirty bed pans right on the floor, and they would leave her on the bedpan for hours. They never gave her a shower or bath. The room was absolutely filthy. It was awful.
