Avalon Square is a beautiful, vibrant senior living community encompassing an entire city block in historic downtown Waukesha. Cultural activities, parks, and a charming mix of shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Construction of Avalon Square was completed in 2003, consisting of a sizeable new addition and a major renovation of the original structure, a 1920’s era hotel. Lifestyle options include spacious independent senior and assisted living apartments and a specialty/memory care residence.
A wide array of social, educational, recreational, and spiritual activities are offered and scheduled transportation for shopping and outings is available. Exercise classes and other wellness-oriented programs are very popular. One of the key features enjoyed by residents of Avalon Square is the elegant town center which fills the entire first floor. Highlights of the town center include restaurant-style and private dining rooms, chapel, multi-use learning center, 1950’s style café, fitness center, card parlor, billiards lounge, library, and more.
