Wonderful Memory Care Home

I took care of my 87 year mother, who has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson's, until I couldn't take care of her anymore. Harmony Point Memory Care has been a godsend and has made a difference in my mother's life, and in mine, as well. My mother just celebrated being here a year, last week. She is night and day so much better, comfortable, and happier from last year to now. They take care of my mom 100 times better at Harmony Point Memory Care than the lack of care I witnessed her not getting at regular skilled nursing facilities, for which she was in a year prior, and, at the time before she transferred over to here. At Harmony Point Memory Care, the staff and caregivers give my mother such loving and skilled round the clock care. The environment is very clean. The layout feels like you are in a house. They all just love my mom, and they all love me. It feels like a home and family here. It is the first place I have ever felt totally comfortable with my mom being in someone else's care. I don't have to worry at all. That says a lot.

Thank you, Harmony Point Memory Care, for taking the load off of me and giving my mom such wonderful loving care each and every day and night, and, for the love and care you give me as her family member, as well. You guys are the best, and I love you all! I highly recommend you to others in need of top notch care.

Really liked the faculties. Love that I don't have to find new doctors for my dad that there will be doctors that will care for him.Hannah was very accommodating to us by showing us around and answering my question. I will be talking back with her soon

Very nice rooms with wonderful technical amenities

I toured this place and almost moved my Mom in. I liked them a lot and thought the business was run very well. The rooms were very nice with vaulted ceilings and you could even set up a music player so music played throughout. The biggest drawback, however, was that the location was a little odd. It’s in an area where there isn’t a lot of landscaping and it doesn’t have a lot of walking paths, which is something I really wanted for my Mom. There is a small patio in the back, though. The person that gave me the tour was great and was able to answer any questions I had. I also was able to meet the head nurse and I liked him a lot. I really liked everything about the community from what I had read and briefly seen, but ultimately had to decide against it.

A BIT OF HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!!!!!

Absolutely the best place in this area! If you want to get what you pay for for your loved one, these wonderful people and services go above and beyond pricing, and money can't pay for the heartfelt concern compassion and consideration of your loved one's dignity. I trust these people completely with caring for my aunt! Dementia and Aging can sneak up on a person unexpectedly sometimes leaving a person confused and angry this was my aunt when she moved in, within two days she was bubbly oriented about her surroundings and greeted by and has made friends with many residents and the staff. Small enough place and simple enough activities that keeps the residents engaged and thriving! Rooms are very spacious and honestly the roommate sharing option I believe is a great way to go! Look at no other place if you want safe loving professional living for your loved one!

A visit

This looked like a nice community when we visited. The person that took us on tour was nice. The community we chose was closer to family.

Perfect fit!

We knew right away that Harmony Point Memory Care was the perfect place for my dad. The staff is so caring and understanding of my dad's needs. The communication I have with the staff members is excellent. I emailed them one of my concerns that dad can easily get agitated if he is not kept busy, they responded that they had taken care of my worries and let me know he was helping them fill the bird feeders and other little things to keep him busy. There are no complaints about the food and the place is very clean. I would highly recommend Harmony Point to others looking for quality care.

Attentive Staff!!

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far everything is going well for her. The staff have been absolutely wonderful and I am comfortable with the care they are providing. They are always so helpful to my mother and attentive to her needs to the best of there ability. I am impressed to see them getting her engaged and involved in many of the activities and events they have going on throughout the week. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

My husband's care and comfort

I like the care that my husband is receiving from this community. The administration is outstanding. They have had some changes and just recently added more staff. the community is clean and maintained. I like the cleanliness of the community. They offer a nice menu of meals for the residents. I like knowing that he does try and participate in the activities with the other residents. I would recommend this community for many reasons on the great care and value.

This is a very nice community and I had the pleasure of [Removed] providing the tour! She was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. The layout and décor is wonderful and we feel this will be a good fit for our Mom.

Not my cup of tea!

Going downhill fast. Constant change in staff. Staff stated they were frequently under staffed with no staff watching residents in common areas. Patients with dirty nails, no shoes on, stained clothes and obviously hair that has not been combed. Activities did not appear to be stimulating. Anyone can toss a balloon across the room. Staff does not appear to be happy with their jobs. That told me all I needed to know. So I will keep looking.

Outstanding Care for my mom

I like the care from this community. The staff are good and they keep me informed on her progress. The community is very clean. I like that she is happy with the meals that are served, they do need some improvements. We hope that they can get some special needs. They offer alot of nice activities that are offered, music, crafts. This is a good commuinty for care for a loved. They offer a set price for her care.

Great place that gained my trust early on!

Great place that gained my trust early on!

Going downhill fast

My mother has been at Harmony Point, called Aria, since April 2016. There has been a complete turnover in all management staff in the first 6 months of her living there. Which should tell you something isn't working.

The maintenance has declined (had to complain about the feces on the carpet in her room for two weeks), staff will accost you and complain about having to care for your loved one, they have mismanaged her medication and cannot keep track for the services you have already paid.

Unless management changes, keep far away from here.

Outstanding Care

I am happy with the care here for my mom. the staff are very nice and attentive to her needs. The community is clean and she is happy with the meals. They offer her alot of nice activties to participate in. I would recommend this community due to they lock in the cost for the care that is provided.

They Have Good Care Here

I am happy with the care my wife gets from this community. The staff provide good services and I am able to communicate well with them. I have tried the meals and they are okay to me and my wife has a choice to choose from and they have substitutions. It is a clean community and they maintain my wife's room well.

Beautiful community!

The community Harmony Point Memory care is a very nice place. The staff that offered the tour were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to address all of my concerns. The community was very well kept and nice throughout. It is kept very clean and updated. I was impressed with A Place for Mom a few years ago when I was researching senior living options. I never forget A Place for Mom and used them again now when it was time for my loved ones to move.

Did not meet with the representative as they were out. However was not impressed with the location nor the ambiance. Did not try to reschedule.

It's a very upscale atmosphere. You feel like you're going into a high end expensive home. The feeling of the community is upbeat, the decor is modern. It doesn't feel institutional at all. The food is fantastic, and I'll eat it as well. The food is made fresh. My experience has been extremely positive. Five stars!

Exceptional care

My uncle lived at Aria Memory Care and we found the care to be exceptional. The staff was companionate and the home was well kept. The food was plentiful and tasty.

Place for Mom is a Wonderful service

A Place for Mom was very helpful in reducing the stress in placing my father in a facility. I could not have DONE IT WITHOUT THAT SERVICE. I chose to place him at Aria Memory Care and am very happy with the care and special events that make him feel special and at home.

Flexiblity and comunication

Placed my father in Aria in November, the care takers are helpful in the transition. It has taken my father some time to adjust...as well as the care takers understanding his needs. The care takers have been very responsive to my personal requests and have included him in appropriate activities. He was honored on Veterans day...Kudos to management for their planning on special occasions.

wonderful place

Aria Memory Care is a wonderful place. My mother is almost blind and the staff here has to do everything. All she has to do is push a button and the staff attend to her. Mom has not had accident the whole time she has been there because they come quickly to help her. The activity person is lovely and the lady that works at the front desk is too. They are all just adorable. They are not fake they are genuine. I didn't realize that it was so memory oriented here. There is no one for my mom to relate to. I love the fact that there is only about 12 residents though.

Very positive experience so far

My Dad has been living at Aria for almost a month and so far we are extremely pleased with the facility, the care he is receiving and the helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff. From the Executive Director to the Nurses Aides, they are all friendly, helpful and attentive.

An Outstanding Memory Care Center You Should Consider

Aria Memory Care has become a wise choice to care for my husband in his stressful bout with advanced Dementia and related illnesses. Since we were moving him from out of state, there was no time to visit or even meet the staff of Aria, only we had promising phone calls which made us trust that we were doing the right thing for him. The staff at Aria are all knowledgeable and most accommodating to their patients. I am sure my husband has been most trying at times and occasionally a bit out of hand but all these stressful issues seem to be resolved for now. It is the very nature of Dementia to be critical and over demanding but they all try to keep the peace among the residents like my husband who I am sure tries their patience no end. He is a person who needs to be kept very busy and we note that he is allowed to help out in the patio area garden which is wonderful. He also helps the Maintenance gentleman when he can and all we can say is that makes him feel needed and a bit important. My biggest concern is the aggression in my husband can cause friction between him and others there on occasion so we hope his medications are monitored maybe more frequently than the norm to ensure he tones it down a bit and tries getting along more with others. We deeply appreciate everything the outstanding staff is doing to help him settle in better everyday and we highly recommend this lovely facility to anyone having loved ones who are suffering from Dementia/Alzeimer's and mental problems so prevalent in the world today. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you today and everyday at the Aria. God Bless all of You!

very good place

My mother was in a nursing home prior to coming to Aria Memory Care. She was a flight-risk as she continued to go out the doors. We found Aria Memory Care and they have been great. Mom is able to go outdoors. The staff is very good with the residents. They are not rough or pushy or mean or anything. They are very nice. It is a very good place.

Very satisfied

Very wonderful place. Feel so at ease now because my Mom is well taken care of. Staff is extremely kind and attentive.

They are doing a good job.

They are doing a good job. They are very nice. I like that they have the dementia residents on one wing and the Alzheimer's residents on the other. It works out well since one group happens to be more lively than the other.

Every person there was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The make each individual in their care feel special and everyone there knows everyone by name. They know so much about each and every individual in their care. It is a wonderful place.

Help at last

Beth and Carrie's friendliness, professionalism and experience combined to make this an easy transition for my mother and a relief for my wife and myself. We feel supported and reasured that mom is well taken care of and not just a room number. The facility is remarkable, clean, bright and well maintained and the staff (David & Lydia) are friendly and efficient. I believe we have made the right decison and hope this is the beginning of a great relationship.

Beautiful and warm home with experienced staff and a great plans for the future!

I have volunteered several times at Aria and I love the facility as well as the staff. Whenever a facility opens it takes time to get full and once more residents move in there will be a lot more activities and offerings. Funding is a challenge until that point. I know they have lots of offerings planned, i.e., music therapy, vegetable garden, etc., but in the mean time I found the staff very caring and competent, the facility beautiful and spotless, and I love that residents have a great outdoor space that makes it feel like home. There is a very comfortable, at home feeling here and as more residents move in, I know they'll be offering special activities and music therapy! Go visit and you'll see what I mean. I would not be giving of my free time to a place that I didn't believe in.

Smiling Again

Moved my mother in last month and couldn't be happier. After visiting other buildings in the area I am very happy with my decision and couldn't be happier with the facility and on-site managers. The smile on my mother's face when I visit says a lot about her quality of life there. Thanks, Beth and team!

Love, love, love this community!

Love, love, love this community! I moved my mom in about a mouth ago and could not be happier with the care she is receiving. The day I toured the caregivers were in the middle of dementia training on redirection and de-escalation techniques, I was very happy to see staff and management really focused on using things other then medication to help manage some of the behaviors that go along with dementia. Beth the director was amazing the knowledge and advice she gave me in the beginning along with the continued support from all the staff has been amazing! Mom is not only participating in activities but she loves the food, care staff and has made some friends. It is such a relief when I visit everyday to see her happy and well taken care of. Ceri the nurse always has her door open and provides me updates on any changes in my mom's medications and overall wellness, she even took the time to email me in the beginning when I was having a hard time with the transition of not having mom at home anymore. Overall I would say this place was a God send.

Really Bad!!!!!

After a recent management change, this facility is no longer the happy, above average facility it once was. This facility has become mediocre at best. The management company has cancelled the music therapy program, has reduced the LVN staff to one for the entire facility, relies primarily on home health agencies for nursing needs, and hires caregivers to dispense medications, some of whom do not even have a CNA llicense.

As hard as the transition was for mys...

As hard as the transition was for myself but more importantly my mother I can not express my overall happiness with the cleanliness of the facility, the food and activities. However the most important quality is the staff. They are all helpful, caring and compassionate. I truly did not understand the level of compassion and patience an individual most possess to care for persons with memory issues.
Jeff the administrator does an excellent job of finding those quality individuals and strives for excellence. Sadly my mother now has passed and I can not express my gratitude enough to the staff of this facility

Everyone is pretty happy with it.

We met the chef when we toured and I got the impression that the food was good, they seem to be very concious of the quality of the ingredients and what goes into the meal. Everyone is pretty happy with it. The facilities were very nice and the staff was very friendly, it was also in a convenient location for our family and the price was reasonable and within our budget.

New, pleasant, 24/7 care for those with memory issues

Less than a year old, with a pleasant, spacious, ground-floor design, Aria provides care for seniors with moderate to severe memory issues. The name is from their use of music therapy. The staff is expert and very involved and caring with each individual; occasionally they are spread thin, but less so than at most places I've seen. Activities are still being expanded in scope, but are done very inventively, and with a high level of participation - exercises, games, crafts, discussions, music, outdoors, visiting dogs & children & entertainers. Food is good (especially the amazingly scruptious sugar-free ice-cream protein shakes and the fairly frequent cookies hot-from-the-oven as an afternoon snack), and it is tuned thoughtfully to the needs & preferences of the residents. About 15 residents now, capacity would be around 30, in large single or double rooms with a U design around an outdoor patio & garden.

It's gone well.

It's gone well. The food is very good. They are so new I think a lot of things are just getting established. It was one of the few places that would allow one resident with Alzheimers and one without to stay together in the same room. The thing I love about it is, it's new and super clean, the food is good, and it's a safe environment.

Very impressed with the facility, Jeff and everyone who assisted us on the tour. We liked the music program but we are still not sure if we want to commit to long term care.
