Special care for a special resident
I have a sister who is a resident at AlfredHouse. She has many special needs and requires a specific understanding and care. The staff at AlfredHouse has been so accommodating to her needs and always keeps me informed of her needs and progress. The house manager is always available and really cares about all the residents. It is challenging caring for my sister. They have shown much compassion and respect towards her. She is the happiest that she has been in over 15 years. Taking care of the elderly is important and AlfredHouse really steps up to the plate.
Stay far far away from all AlfredHouse properties. They exemplify incompetence on all levels. Complete lack of knowledge on dementia, state regulations, nutrition, etc. Family owned, family run group of small homes. Staff is overworked, underpaid, and miserable. There are far better options for seniors out there.
Since 1992, AlfredHouse ElderCare has been providing a nurturing environment to its residents. The eight beautiful facilities are nestled in the Rockville and Silver Spring areas. Not only are there daily activities for the residents to enjoy, but also scheduled outings to theater performances, shopping, and other fun events. The warm and comfortable home setting offers an enhanced alternative to traditional nursing homes. Specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, we at AlfredHouse maintain the utmost respect for our residents, with loving care provided by our compassionate caregivers. We take pride in celebrating each event of our residents’ lives, whether anniversaries, birthdays, or community holidays; celebrating life events assures our residents that they are a precious and vital part of the community.
