Customer Reviews

This is a family ran care facility and they seem to work well together. They make excellent food mostly from scratch. The room for patients are roomy and have their own bathroom, Good parking and easy to get to.

In Good Hands

Silvia’s has been caring for my stepfather for over a month now. He likes it there and they are attentive and nice. It’s been a real blessing to know he’s in good hands. They contact me regularly so their communication is very good. The place is nice, clean and well-kept. The food is good and it always smells so good there it makes me want to have lunch! He’s not active so doesn’t participate in any activities. The staff works with me as a partner in his care and eases my burden as I’m very busy so I’m very thankful for their help. I would highly recommend Silvia’s. And I give it a 4.8 out of 5 rating.

great facility

I loved that it was a family run business. Everyone had their own specialty. And very kind too all of our family . My brother in law was in good hands. When's it's time I would want to be taken care of there

definitely recommend this place

My mom loved it there I would definitely recommend it
they are not a facility that does a lot of activities in my mothers case that was perfect. she loved the personal attention, friendliness, cleanliness and the food. rooms are pleasant and large and have their own bathrooms. It feels like a grand hotel in Eastern Europe when walking in.

they need a male caregiver who cares about recidents

this place is great for female recidents male residents are not treated well. residents don't have activities are always in their room they only come out for meals. there's two caregivers a female and male onsite but when my father needs to use the bathroom Daniel is never where to be found or is sleeping in living room. i wouldn't recommend this place

bad treatment they dont care about recidents

family owned and operated they are friendly but on your back stab your loved ones. i visit my dad and see often how badly other residents are treated. i don't recommend this place residents are verbally abused.

don't bring your love ones to silvia and john rcf

Worst place there are two caregivers and only one is on duty. Residents are put and left for long periods of time in toilet. I don't recommend this place at all.

Great care

We have had three of our parents in care of Silvia. We could not be more happy. The price is reasonable, between
$1500 and $2500 per month less than other facilities we have used. Presently my mother is in their care. She has been there 4 1/2 years on Hospice the entire time. She has wonderful care. Been in bed over 2 years, and no skin issues! I think that must be a record. Her needs are met and her care exceeds our expectations.

I can't speak more highly of them, I have been very very pleased.

I can't speak more highly of them, I have been very very pleased. They are very understanding and they definitely know what they are doing. I don't know what I'd do without them. They never act like anything is a problem, it is well organized and each person is well cared for. It's a homey atmosphere. It's always very clean. I like their caring attitude, they definitely know what they are doing medically as well. Everything was written out in the contract, so I knew exactly what was going to happen if there were extra needs. They gave her time to adjust before deciding what kind of care she needed. There are occaisonal activities, not daily. The food always smells really good, and they seem to love it. This has been perfect for our family and situation, it might not be for everyone, but we love it.

It's quite expensive. I pay almost $6000 a month for my husband to live there. They have a base price and then other fees for care. There is another fee for tube feeding which he has to have and $500 a month becuase he needs 2 people to transfer him. The hospice prescribed something and Sylvia and Johns is giving it to him all the time instead of just in emergencies. They have him so drugged all the time that he can't wake up. My husband doesn't speak to it makes it difficult to know when he's in pain and Silvia just assumes that he's in pain all the time and gives him the medicine. It could be more to do with hospice that Silvia and John's but I just don't know.

It's a very nice facility and everyone has their own private room and bath which is nice. The people mostly stay in their rooms all day but they make them come out for meal times. They don't have any group activities or anything like that.
