Would you believe?

Today we took my mom back to Provision at 8:07pm. No one was there to let us in. There is a telephone but it said leave a message. My husband and mother banged on the doors and windows. No one came. My husband finally left my mother standing out in the vestibule and went driving around the place. Finally, he went on the opposite side of the building and pounded on some patio doors. Someone finally came, and then went to the front door to let them in. Both mom and my husband had considered calling 911. I'm terribly upset!!! No sleep for me tonight. This is not the first time this has happened to a resident.

Hi, Connie.

First and foremost, we completely understand your frustration and concern for your loved one. After 8:00 p.m., phone calls from the vestibule are answered by our resident assistants. During that time, our resident assistants are helping members of our community prepare for bedtime which can include bathing and helping them get dressed. Because of the amazing work of our residents assistants, they may not get to answer the front door as quickly. Additionally, the doors lock after 8:00 p.m. as a safety precaution. To make sure this matter doesn't happen again, we're going to improve communicating our after-hours policy. We apologize for any imposition this has caused you and your loved one.

Excellent

We looked at numerous assisted living facilities for our mother in the area. Provision Living was far and away our number one choice. [Name removed] and the entire staff at Provision are excellent at their jobs and provide us peace of mind that our mother is being well cared for.

Thank you for the kind words. We're happy that you're pleased with the level of care and we enjoy having your mother as a member of our community.

subpar at best! go elsewhere!!!

This place sells you a bunch of services that they do not deliver. When we complain or bring up issues we are assured it will not happen again and nothing changes. The staff takes ZERO pride in their work is not held responsible for anything including the basics like medication delivery, diet ( the food they serve is full of salt and sugar no healthy food), they clean rooms once a week and do a subpar job at that. There are no protocols in place to make sure meds were administered properly, on time or they they have actually been taken by the resident to the point where it has caused trips to the ER that set my LO back everytime he is sent there. The staff has ZERO training in regards to dementia and Alzheimer care. We were forced to hire a 24hour outside company to stay with my LO and he still is having issues with his meds and diet. There are VERY few activities and zero enrichment. I have yet to see a musical performer come in or anything to stimulate the memory care residents.
They are a money making machine and take no responsibility for anything once they get your money. Do not put your LO here!

I’d give it a zero if possible. Abuse, neglect, medication errors. TOO many good options- look elsewhere!

We take any allegation of abuse and neglect extremely seriously and no complain is ever overlooked. If you know of a specific situation of abuse and neglect, we strongly encourage you to share this information with our director of clinical services and compliance, Cathy Krege.

Awful

The facility has been opened for less than 2 months and the original management team is already gone with replacements from the out of state home office. Lots of staff turnover. Care is very poor due to unqualified and short staffed care givers. Their focus is on making it look pretty and not on care. Pull cord and emergency button is very slow, half hour plus. Medication administration is questionable. Lots of undelivered promises. We have hired outside care to care for our parents within the facility until we can move them out.
