Customer Reviews

Good place for elderly residents

My Dad’s doctor recommended Lily Homes to us as one of her patients had been staying there for years and this patient had shown great improvement. So we moved Dad to Lily Homes in March 2019.
My 89-yrs Dad has been staying there since March 2019. He has dementia, incontinence, post stroke syndrome, insomnia as he wakes up in the small hours and starts singing and playing radio very loud as he is very deaf and legally blind, he can’t tell if it’s day time or night.
Despite all his problems, staff at Lily Homes have shown great patience and care towards my Dad.
Owner [name removed] is very delightful , kind and helpful, she is always eager to help .
The facility is clean, and staff are very friendly as well. Residents are being taken good care of. It’s a family environment so residents don’t feel like living at hospital or nursing home at all.
I strongly recommend Lily Homes.

From wonderful to VERY BAD.

My mother was at Lily Homes from Sept 2014 to January of 2018. Until the new owners, [Name removed] and her husband purchased the business in Sept of 2017, it was a wonderful and loving place. All family members with loved ones their loved it and we all had compete peace of mind and gratitude for the care there. That all changed when the [Name removed] took ownership. I saw care quality quickly decline greatly. The problems were reported to the ombudsman. Residents who were formerly always dry and clean were found dripping wet with urine, including my mother. Family members moved their loved ones from the home once it appeared there was no hope for improvement. It was very heartbreaking. The loving and and excellent staff that were there for many years were run off or fired and she hired cheaper staff. Food came from unknown sources per staff. This was a traumatic time for the families and the original
staff. It has taken me this long to write about. I had a lot of recovering to do.
