More of an "end of life" place
It was really good, very attentive staff, the problem was it wasn't a good fit for my dad. It's almost like hospice care, everyone there has their face in their food, they're so far gone it's almost like end of life.
My dad was the youngest person there that actually had a mind, he could only interact with the staff and there were no patients he could interact with because they were all so heavily medically restrained; so he liked it there and he didn't like it there. I don't know if everyone is just heavily medicated or it that's the kind of people they attract there, they have poeple who are very advanced dementia and people that are over 100 years old there so it wasn't a good fit for him, even though he had slight dementia and is a paraplegic.
They were a great place, the food was really good, I think it was a little skimpy on the food because my dad had to go back for seconds several times but I think that's because they didn't realize that he wasn't like their other residents. I think highly of grace but it's more for people right before they go to hospice.
