From the Community

GlenWood Park Retirement Village is a continuing care retirement community established in southern West Virginia in 1968 by the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
Our ecumenical program includes independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care on a 50-acre campus that offers inspiring views of God’s handiwork. Independent living is provided in two-bedroom apartments and townhouses located near the main building.

Residents in assisted living can choose among single apartments, studios or suites. The newly-renovated health care section includes 67 beds, all licensed for skilled nursing care. Respite care offers temporary assisted living services for individuals 50 or older, enabling caregivers to bring their loved ones to GlenWood for several days or weeks at a time.

With three levels of care, we can meet your needs if they increase on a long-term basis or just temporarily, and our rehabilitation program with physical, occupational and speech therapies will help you maintain your highest possible level of independence.

Our beautiful setting, spiritual affiliation, and wide range of services provide the retirement lifestyle that you’ve been searching for. And the knowledge that you will be taken care of in a professional, compassionate environment provides peace of mind that is truly priceless to you and your family.
