Customer Reviews

Overall Good

My mother has been doing fairly well in the memory care unit at Copper Springs.
She was sharing a room with another lady which was a new experience for her so it did take some getting used to.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and appear to be genuinely concerned for the residents. The food appears to be good.
My mother is still very active and the memory care unit is a closed unit so I think she gets pretty bored and would like to move around more. My mom says she tries to watch tv but she can't hear it. A sound system might help that
They do seem to run out of paper products frequently; paper towels, toilet paper.

Dementia resident well taken care of.

The nurses at Copper Springs are working really hard to balance my husbands medicines, doing a good job. The food is great. Right now they are a little understaffed but the residence still do not lack for care. The administrative staff are excellent to work with.

Like a home away from home

They were very kind to my husband made sure he was taken care of..

Staff is nice but they are short handed

Everyone at this facility has been wonderful to my brother. They are really nice and the CNA’s have been great. It is a new facility and looks fairly nice. They do have a lot of activities including trips to go out, bingo, and crafts. I have overheard other male residents say they need more activities for the men. However, I do have a few complaints. They are understaffed and recently they’ve been running out of food. The more time that goes on, it seems to be slowly getting worse. I would recommend this community to other families.

Nice, but not Very Homey

I toured here while looking for a place for my loved one's respite care, and I thought it was a very nice faculty, but it wasn't in a great location for us, It was very big, and it didn't seem as welcoming and homey as what we were hoping for. The woman who gave us our tour was professional and nice, but she seemed a little cold and didn't give us a warm and fuzzy feeling. Overall, Copper Springs just would not have made a great fit for us.

Too Much Like a Hospital

I toured here for my loved one, but I did not care for this community. It felt too much like a facility or a hospital. It was a clean place, and the staff were nice, but I just knew that it would not be a good fit for my loved one.

Good food, Lots of Activities

Copper Springs has been good, overall. When we first moved in, we had some issues with lack of communication on the part of the staff, but we had a meeting with them. Since the meeting, it seems they are making an effort to rectify the issues. The caregivers and the food here are both very good, it's a clean place, and they have a lot of activities going on. almost every time a visit, I see people involved in something. Overall our experience here has been positive.

From My View

There was nothing wrong when my husband had the tour. Everything was suitable accept he preferred another community over them. He felt the staff treated their role as just workers and not as a profession.

Great stay!

My mom's stay at Copper Springs is going great! The staff take great care of her and she gets nice, healthy meals! So far, I have no complaints about this facility, they are doing an excellent job!

I took a tour!

My tour of Copper Springs went well. The facility was clean, but the rooms were very small for the price. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, they were prepared with information.

Cozy and Great

My mom is struggling to adjust but it is nice community. The staff are willing to make her feel comfortable and they accommodate her with what is helpful. The meals are really well prepared from what I seen during lunch. The plan one big activity a week and have celebration for holidays. For St. Patrick's Day they had Irish dancers perform for the residents.

I like this community for the care that my mom received. This community is outstanding in every way. It showed a lot of love and it was a good environment. The beautiful place to call home. I would recommend this community

Dad is still adjusting to living at Copper Springs. This is a lively clean community. They offer daily activities and dad enjoys the exercise class. The entire staff is friendly and upbeat. Dad enjoys talking to the owner of the community. I have eaten there and I think the food is good.

When I spoke with the lady at this community about possibly moving my mother in I was not pleased with her. I told her what we were looking for and she had mentioned that they did not have what we wanted available. She then proceeded to tell me that she did not feel the one bedroom was important for my mother, and she knew what would work better. I think I know my mom and her needs and did not like that she was pushy with the way she spoke to me.

Still The Beginning

They have been improving the meals here. The presentation of meals are not good. The veggies have been overcooked and the bacon is often burned. The residents have good humor and it is improving. I can communicate with the staff easily and they accommodate my parents.

I have some concerns

I have some concerns with Diamond View Assisted Living and Memory Care. They moved my father-in-law into the newer building. It is a beautiful building but he is bored. The bedroom is way down the hall. He seemed happier in the other building. We are going call and voice our concerns. His bed hasn't been changed in a long time. I was a CNA and our job was to do a walk through and make sure everything was getting done. His toilet hasn't been flushed in a while. He hasn't taken a shower in a long time. We have been going to visit a lot and they have very young aids working. They are sitting on couch watching TV. I was taught that there is always busy work. It is a beautiful building and will go downhill quick if it's not taken care of. I brought dad creamer and I asked an aid to make coffee and it took forever for it to get to us. The pizza he had was like cardboard. He just had to eat the topping off. They also need to make water more available. The staff served two small cups of orange juice that he quickly downed. My relatives were visiting and the aid allowed my father-in-law to follow them out the door. I didn't think that was safe. I am hoping these issues can get resolved soon.

I'm happy with Diamond View. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Lisa calls me with updates regarding my mother in-law. Lets me know how she is adjusting to the new environment and residents. Mom says the food is yummy. I'm glad we selected Diamond View.

Nice, newer facility, great staff. The only
draw back for us is it is in a rural area, far
from stores, restaurant and our son's home.
Also no covered carports.

It didn't smell very clean to me.

We toured here when we were looking. I was immediately hit by the odor, it stunk when we walked in. It didn't smell very clean to me. That was enough to turn me around and back out the door.

Hello, our housekeeping staff is terrific and yet there are still times (in every household) when an odor may be temporarily present. I do hope you come back at some point and visit us again. Thank you.

Diamond View was a very nice place. Very Clean. Staff was very helpful. Residents seemed happy. Rooms were nice. View would be great on a clear day. I was pleased.
