Deer Trail Assisted Living is licensed by the State of Wyoming as an assisted living and memory care community. Deer Trail is an inviting community made up of two neighborhoods. One neighborhood caters to assisted living and the other to memory care, and it’s all nestled in a single-story, smoke-free environment that offers all the comforts of home. Deer Trail opened its doors to its first residents in February 2012.
Deer Trail is an Encore community. Encore has three partners with over 40 years of experience developing, marketing, and managing senior communities throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Rock Springs may be a new area for the group, but two of the principles have family throughout Wyoming and understand the challenges and needs of families in the area. Encore has also developed a community like Deer Trail in Casper, Wyoming, with intent to build similar communities throughout Wyoming, Colorado, western Nebraska, Utah and New Mexico. What started as a dream inspired by the love of a grandmother has become a partnership that’s improving the care that our loved ones receive.
In a phrase, you could say Deer Trail is just like being at home. Nestled at the heart of Sweetwater County, it’s where you established your roots, raised a family, and forged enduring friendships. Situated on the busting west side of Rock Springs, Deer Trail is never far from friends and family. You can shop and dine nearby, walk to meet friends for activities next door at the Young at Heart Senior Center, or enjoy endless family fun at the rec center just up the street.
As a top-notch assisted living and memory care community, Deer Trail meets all state standards to be licensed by the Wyoming Department of Health. Plus, Deer Trail has a wellness program that’s administered by a registered nurse. This keeps the state happy, but more importantly, you can be happy knowing that residents get the quality care they need. Living here means that every day tasks like cooking, cleaning and other daily activities are taken care of by specialized, caring people. The goal is simple-to let residents enjoy life.
Your monthly rent covers a lot more than just an apartment. Rent includes three healthy meals daily, with snacks and refreshments available throughout the day. Light weekly housekeeping including refreshing the bed. Basic cable services with your favorite shows and sports are provided. All utilities are included except personal phone and internet. Deer Trail provides a 24/7 emergency-call system and nursing staff presence. Monthly rent also includes scheduled trips to shops, medical appointments, and church services. Deer Trail provides inviting and well-appointed living and social spaces to entertain family and friends. Also included are social, learning programs and events arranged by the Life Enrichment Director.
