My aunt was only at this community for a short period of time but she seemed to really enjoy her self while she was there. The staff where always very friendly and made sure to accommodate her needs as best as possible. They had a fun activity program and a variety of meals to choose from. They where just saying they where closing down so I had to find another place for my aunt to go.
My mom lived here for a year as soon as she began having sleeping issues they immediately started to text me that I needed to get her on sleeping pills. As long as the residents are all in line like zombies all is good but if they get out of line expect a text! Needless to say my mom is no longer a resident.
Have toured and spoken with the Manager, Gino L, who is a personable, sharp guy. The current 4 residents are socializably a mixed group. The home is clean. Small, but perhaps sufficient dining/kitchen rooms. The one private room available was small but bright, with a French door to the outside side patio. Most share one small bathroom. The $3,400 I was quoted seemed high to me but the Mgr said he was willing to discuss. There's a house rule about no visitors after 7-8pm. If my mom needed me, not sure this would work.
Advertises 24 hr AWAKE staff. They were fully aware that my grandmother did not sleep well at night, they requested sleeping prescription, told us that the medication does not take effect immediately. Instead of having us bring her home to give the medication a week to take effect they kept her but called us two days later to pick her up because she did not sleep and was keeping the staff awake....ummm, isn't that what you advertise !?
