Customer Reviews

Of the three places I've toured, this was by far the most beautiful. The campus has four acres and there is a lovely walking path and a pond with ducks. The facility is clean and it's obvious that great care has been taken to give it a homey feel. I left with the feeling of "Summer Camp for Seniors".

But, this is a place for *very* independent living -- there are external vendors for aging-in-place, but these must be found and contracted personally at whatever going rate one can find.

There are nice choices on the menu, the staff were caring and respectful of the residents not only greeting by name but inquiring how the person was doing, and one of the residents volunteered to me that she'd been there four years and couldn't be happier. Residents seemed happy and I saw several activities going on with engaged residents.

There's little flexibility on meal times. Only one meal comes with the rent, and the person must choose which meal they want. Residents get meal tickets that can only be used at that meal. Residents can bring containers to take food back to their kitchenette but if they fall asleep or return late and miss mealtime, they'll need to have a backup in their rooms or make other arrangements.

Small pets up to 25 pounds are permitted, but not enthusiastically, I didn't see any pets on my tour. Two days after my tour I received a personal Thank You note. Ladies send Thank You notes. It's that kind of place.

Good food with huge portions!

I love it here and I’m able to be close to my family. My stay has been better than expected. All of the staff members have been so welcoming and nice. I haven’t found anything I’m not happy with. My apartment is on the smaller side and has a small kitchenette with a 2 burner stove. Only one of the meals is included in your rent but it’s so big you can’t eat it all. They pack the leftovers for you and I usually can make 3 meals out of the one lunch meal. I feel at home here and I would recommend this facility!

Great Staff, Close By

Creekside Village has been a great experience so far. The people there try to create a family, and are so helpful. The food is excellent. They serve several options at mealtime, and the portions are large. The staff has recommended to my mother that she bring Tupperware to dinner with her so she can take leftovers back to her room. They hire a professional cleaning service for the community, so it is always very tidy. They have activities, game rooms, shopping, and day trips. Some of their trips would make those under 55 jealous! Possibly the best part of Creekside is that it is so close by. It is virtually within walking distance, so it’s very easy for my wife and me to visit. Really the only issue is that the building is showing its age a little bit. They still have baseboard heating. My mother doesn’t have to pay for electric, which is good because that can sometimes be sky high with baseboard. Overall though, I’d recommend the community to others.

Nice Community

We toured Creekside Village. The staff was friendly and they gave a nice tour of their community. It was a clean and well-kept community. We chose another community we were more familiar with.

Had a Outside Patio

This community was fine I liked it. The staff was friendly and the community was clean and well maintained. They had 2 bedrooms with patios which I was looking for. However, my daughter and I didn't care for the food. The community was reasonably priced and they offered activities I would be interested.

My visit to Creekside

This is a nice community. This community seems to offer some nice amenities and activities including a game room. This community was a little farther away than what I was looking for.

My Happy Home

I am very happy with the care that I am receiving living here. The staff is just wonderful and caring. It is a great home feeling with the residents. The food is very good and the variety of meals that are offered. They have wonderful activities that I enjoy with the other residents. I would highly recommend this for other families for the value and the care that is received here.

Homelike!

My mother is doing fine with her move to this community. She is adjusting well so far. The meals at this place are great, we had thanksgiving there and it was very nice. We have no complaints. The room she is in is much smaller than I would have liked her to get, but she's comfortable and that's all that matters.

Creekside Village works for us!!

The food is good. They offer a good mixture and variety of choices. The community is kept clean. They offer a lot of activities for the residents to enjoy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this community.

Very Accommodating Community And I love It !!

This is a wonderful community and I am very pleased. The place looks amazing and very clean. They are always cleaning and the facility smells great. They have a welcome lady that comes and introduce you to the community. She has invited me to bingo and other activities. They have nice activities, I enjoyed the tea party, it was very nice and fancy. The food is fantastic, it tastes delicious. Something nice they did for me was they allowed me to hang my pictures in the hallway because they would not fit in on my wall. They have been very accommodating to me and my needs. I would recommend this community because it has been a wonderful experience for me.

I have a high regard for the staff

I have a high regard for the staff at Creekside Village The friendliness and cleanliness is really good. The room mom has is a little bit tired. They cleaned it up nicely but it's just a little tired. The cupboards don't all hang straight any more, the track in the closet is dented so it doesn't close right, things like that. The food is excellent and they are improving their activities. They are going to start doing some things that are a little more universal. They haven't done it yet but say they are.

super friendly

At Creekside Village the staff is so amazing . They are super friendly. The food is fantastic. The grounds here are beautiful. Cant think of one thing they need to improve on. Very pleased with this facility.

Incredibly friendly community!

We're very pleased with how things have gone with Creekside Village, Mom settled in even better than I had hoped! The residents here are so incredibly friendly, I think a huge part of how well Mom settled in was due to their resident-run welcoming committee. The staff here are also very nice, and the facility is well kept and clean. They've got a lot of activities as well. I'd highly recommend it!

very welcoming

Dad has been there at Creekside Village for a month, and in that short time they have done really good welcoming him in and making him feel like a part of the community. They have made it a very smooth transition and an all around wonderful experience.

Very helpful and accommodating staff, excellent value!

I think they do a great job at Creekside Village. Moving into a community can be a very stressful process for both the resident and the family, but the staff at Creekside Village really go out of their way to help things go as smoothly as possible! For what they charge they provide a really excellent value. I would highly recommend the place!

great overall

Julie Miller is the main lady we worked with, and she is just great, and does a great job for them. The staff is really helpful and good, really caring. The welcoming program is really good, and the transition for mom was really really good.

One area where they could improve is that the housekeeping/cleaning services is a little brief and could be more extensive. Mom has also complained that the big bus they use to transport is hard to get in and out of, and she tripped once trying.

Place was beautiful, very welcoming and friendly. But my main concern for dad is transportation and they only offer Tuesday - Thursday an dthat just won't work.

Wonderful community, all around

My Dad has been at Creekside for 8 months, and I could not be happier with everyone there; from the front office, to housekeeping, to Teri & the dining staff, to maintenance, and to the wonderful residents. Dad did not want to move, and needed a good deal of support when he did finally move in, but being surrounded with constant support, and kindness, and great food - he's now one happy Creeksider. What a relief to know that he is in such a good community!

An amazing place!!! We loved the homey-ness of the place and Julie Ramsdell-Miller is awesome! My husband and I are trying to figure out when we can move in there ourselves!!!

Down to earth staff

The price is lower then comparable communities. The staff is friendly, helpful and down to earth. They engage with the residents. They have a good amount of activities to keep those who wish to participate busy. Only thing that we would like to see is extended dining hours. Overall we are pleased with Creekside and would recommend it to anyone.

Ijulie was wonderful. The grounds are lush, beautiful and it is so peaceful there. We were ther from 12 till 4 touring, visiting, meeting residents and getting our questions answered. I think this is the place that my parents will move into. They loved it. My dad thinks it is the Ritz!
