Customer Reviews

Everything is going great!!

Everything is going great for my loved one so far at this community. The staff have been providing him with great quality of care and I am comfortable with knowing he is in good hands in his new living environment. I like that they have been in good communication with my family and I about his progress and any updates. He has had no complaints about the food and enjoys activities they have going on throughout the week.

Shortage of staff

This facility is in my rating fair. I don't believe the services compare to what they sell you on when you first come for your introductory visit.
I have paid extra for the assistance to help my mother dress and other needed task she may need. My mother always complains she's not getting her needed assistance due to shortage of care workers. I have come by different times and found her room messy, and her not fully dressed for the day. Doesn't seem fair the client has to contend with facility shortage of staff.

Best Of The Best!!

One of the main reasons why we picked this community was because of the friendly encouraging staff. My father is not participating in activities at the moment but the staff does a great job encouraging him to a level of comfort. His room is kept nice and tidy. The meal portions served are perfect. I feel like the community does a great job of keeping him happy.

They did really well with the paperwork to get my uncle in the facility. They made it very easy. They are very easy to get along with. They made it easy for him to acclimate himself to the facility. They are really good people. The administration is nice and they are accommodating.

Friendly staff, and good food

We've had a fairly good experience with the California Mission Inn! They do a good job keeping the facility clean and well kept, and the staff have always been very friendly. They also do an excellent job with the food, it is good and there is always plenty for everyone to eat. There are a few things I would like to see them improve, however. The biggest thing is that they always seem very short staffed for the number of people they are looking after. The residents don't seem to get a lot of individual attention, although they are good about making sure everyone's basic assistance needs are met. The facility also just looks a bit old and worn down, although they told me they are planning to remodel soon.

Good Place!

It's a good place! They've got everything covered from what I can tell. My mother seems to like it okay. it's pretty obvious they check on her quite often. Every time I talk to them and ask them how she's doing they tell me things like how she's eating. They really try to work with her.

Clean, Friendly, Nice

It was okay. That was an assisted living place where people live there. The care was good, it was clean, and the people were very friendly. They had a calendar of activities every month for all the residents. She just needed more individual care.

The place is massive (5 acres) and too far away. Also, the one smoking area for her is quite a walk from the room and she would't be happy. Director was very helpful though.
