It was very small and it was a group home, but if you had someone you just needed supervision it was good. They could have up to 20 people and they were taking care of some people who needed medical attention, people that were bed ridden. So you could have different levels, but they couldn't really go outside and do things like that. They did have visiting doctors that would come in and it was cheaper than some other places.
From the Office
Our primary focus is to care for disabled, aged seniors who can no longer care for themselves, but do not necessarily need to be in a nursing home environment. Our residents are ambulatory, but may require the use of a cane, walker or the assistance of our staff members. We specialize with residents that are forgetful, or those with Alzheimer's, Organic Brain Syndrome, dementia disorders. Our staff is well oriented to care for the special needs of each resident, such as maintenance of medications schedules, physician appointments, personal care or assistance. Our mission is to provide a loving, safe and caring country home environment for our elderly residents. Our primary obligation and focus as management and staff members of Belle River Pines is to treat each resident with the dignity they deserve, and the professionalism their families expect of us each and every day.
