1. Post Your Window Decal

Post your window decal in your front window to show prospects how highly families value your service the moment they walk in the door.

2. Frame Your Award Certificate

Frame and display your award certificate prominently in your lobby so touring families can see how outstanding you are!

4. Create a Poster

Create a poster announcing your award and display it on an easel in your lobby to let prospects know you’re a winning community.

5. Offer a Move-In Special

Offer a celebratory limited-time move-in special or waive fees in honor of your award. Advertise the deal in your local paper.

6. Develop an Advertising Campaign

Speaking of advertising, why not incorporate the award into your on- and offline advertising campaigns? Run a direct-mail postcard campaign to your prospects in the local community and mention your award. Add the award badge logo to your print advertising in local papers and magazines. Use the award in your PPC and banner ads. Print off flyers advertising your community and your award and post them around the local community in coffee shops, libraries, doctor’s offices, and senior or community centers.

7. Promote the Award on your Website

Your website is one of the top ways new prospects are finding you, so make sure you’re using it to let them know you’re award-winning.

  • Write a blog announcing your award! (You can even reuse this blog as your press release material for Tip #8 below).
  • Add the award badge to your website and receive your free AWARD PLAQUE! (See Tip #12)

8. Contact Local News with a Press Release

Great press is still one of the best ways to bring in new prospects. Use the Press Kit enclosed in your awards packet for tips on how to share your press announcement with local news outlets.

Once you write your press release announcing your award, we encourage you to mention the award in all your future press releases, like Memory Care Living did:

Memory Care Living PR Blurb

Contacting your local news can lead to some very exciting things – you may end up on TV like Brookridge Heights did! Talk about a great way to bring in new prospects!

9. Share Reviews on your Website

You share testimonials on your website, don’t you? Well, reviews are even better! (Families trust reviews more than testimonials). Link to your favorite reviews on your testimonials page.

Rather than manually adding your new rave reviews as they come in, you can simply add the SeniorAdvisor.com Reviews Widget once, and it will automatically update your website with your latest 4- and 5-star reviews! Plus, you receive free buttons for your entire staff as part of the Platinum Level Pride Package! (See Tip #14)

10. Celebrate on Social Media

Are you on Facebook, Twitter, or Google +? Perfect! Keep your followers in the loop and proudly share your award win! Tweet an image of you celebrating. Link to your winning review page on Facebook. Post your latest review on Google +.

You can even add the award to your LinkedIn profile, like the Community Relations Director for Northgate Plaza Merrill Gardens!
