Customer Reviews

Happy we found the Pines of Newmarket

The time came when my mother could no longer live by herself in her home of 56 years after my father passed and we needed to find a place that was small and intimate enough for her to be comfortable and yet met all her needs. The Pines of Newmarket fit that bill perfectly. She was nervous at the beginning being in such a new situation and they were so very helpful making her feel comfortable and right at home. She just loves it there now and tells everyone that is touring the home that it is the best place to live. They take excellent care of her and it's so nice to go and visit and see how happy she is. They also have a Facebook page and post pictures of the residents and I always see mom right up front enjoying the activities. I am definitely glad that we found the Pines of Newmarket

[name removed] greeted me very well and answered all my questions and queries.
The Pines is beautiful and well kept and residents were all around enjoying different activities.

The Pines of Newmarket

I toured The Pines for my mother, and While I thought the community was very nice, I felt my mother would enjoy being able to go outside and walk. There wasn't a place where she was able to do this by herself here, so we opted for another community.

Happy at This Community

This is a lovely community, and my father is doing very well with his move here. I'am pleased with all they have done for my family. All is well for us at this community.

They Do Not Meet Our Standards

We weren't there long because we felt that it was unfit and didn't like the atmosphere. it was along the lines of a nursing home. My uncle did not need that. I was able to meet with them and I was treated very friendly.

Hard Time Adjusting, But Overall A Nice Place

My mother is still taking some time to adjust to this community. Overall I'am comfortable with the care they are providing her with. The staff is good they are trying their best. Hopefully with some time she gets involved in the community, and all they have offer. It is a nice place.

Runner up!

Me and my loved one was able to go on a tour and we enjoyed everything. The residents were out being active and we got to see the staff interacting with them. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We just did not like the location. It would have been to hard for our family to find.

Happy to be There

My father wanted nothing to do with an assisted living community, until he got here. He has been perfectly happy from the moment he got there and so have I.

It's only been 2 weeks but I am really pleased with the staff and they know who you are when you walk in and are available if you need them.

The staff is very personable and cater to your needs.
I like the idea of paying for the care based on that persons needs, that way you aren't over or under paying.

Thank you

You Can Tell Them I Sent You!

Looking for a place for Mom or Dad?
Consider the Pines of Newmarket, I doubt you'll be disappointed. My mom who is 97 is going on her third month and she is being taken care of by some very fine caregivers. Mom is one who speaks her mind, to me anyhow and my probing always brings a positive response from her. Of course she would rather be in her own home but this is her home for now and she is adjusting a day at a time.
This caregiving staff works with you, anxious to please and do what is right.

Caring enviroment

The folks at the Pines went out of their way to make sure mom had no issues settling in. She is doing well in a smaller facility where everyone knows her. The staff is very caring with her. For us, we felt like they understood and got what she needed.

Happy with our choice.

My father-in-law moved in about 6 weeks ago. I can not say enough positive things about the Pines. The staff is always kind and helpful. They pay attention to the residents and are very respectful. They have events to which residents families are invited. I am told the food is restaurant quality. That from a man who is pretty picky. We are very happy with our choice.

Really nice place!

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The Pines of Newmarket is a very nice looking community! The facility is well kept and clean, the staff are friendly, and it seems like they have a lot to offer the people who live here.

Nice place, overall

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The Pines of Newmarket seemed like a nice place overall, the staff were friendly and the facility was well kept. However, they did not offer the level of care that we were searching for for our loved one, so it was not an option for us.

Review of the Pines of Newmarket

My mother moved into the Pines on January 31. She is 91. She moved from her home and hometown where she has lived for the past 80+ years. She has done a great job of adjusting and that would not have been possible if it were not for the friendly and competent folks who care for her. She enjoys the activities and the other residents. I asked her recently on a scale of 1-10 how she would rate the Pines. She gave them a 9. BRAVO.

Best of care for Mom

When searching for a home for our mother, where we knew she would be taken good care of, we weren't having much luck. That was the situation until we took a tour of The Pines of Newmarket. It has been approximately four years now and not only has our mother had the greatest care, her overall health and attitude improved. She is very happy there, has several friends and gets the best of care. We feel secure in knowing she is being well taken care of. The staff and caregivers are wonderful and keep us informed of her status whenever necessary. I would highly recommend the Pines to anyone looking for that perfect place.

Very happy with our selection of the Pines.

My mother has been at the Pines for 5 years now. Her overall health was good when she moved in, and as expected has declined over the years. The Pines has offered her the ability to live a fullfilling and happy life throughout this entire period. They offer levels of activities and care that have fitted her needs and desires. Not too big, not too small - just right. We have seen a lot of staff over the years, and are very pleased with the sincere caring she gets. They do a good job of selecting staff. And the kitchen caters to the direct needs of each resident. Management reaches out to the family and is readily available.
It is our intention to have our mother stay there for the remainder of her life. The Pines is now her home and is a wonderful place to live out her live.
