The Lofts at Roberts
Overall, I feel that The lofts is a good community. The staff is helpful, the community itself is very clean, the apartments are very nice, and I feel the building is a safe and secure place for my loved one to stay. However, My loved one has back problems, and the community can be difficult to navigate for him. Both parking and the trash are a bit far from the apartments, so it can be difficult on him. If this things could be changed, they would be massive improvements.
Lofts is in down town Muncie, while the Chidlren's Museum is across the street and on the other side is a small (no trees - walking area for dogs and in the summer lots of loud activities) this is city living with train noise, traffic noise, and bright lights.
The people that live at Lofts are hostile, not friendly, and don't take care of the building keeping the great maintenance staff overly busy. The people that live there are bullies and are mean spirited.
One of the most charming things about this neighborhood is the history the buildings hold. Once part of Muncie's shining past, the Roberts Hotel was eventually neglected and abandoned. In recent years, the historic building has been renovated into apartments for adults 55 and over. There will be 56 one-bedroom and 27 two-bedroom apartment homes along with a grand multipurpose room, community rooms on each floor, state-of-the-art fitness center, computer room, and even an on-site movie theater. With a fun community, great location, and intriguing history, what's not to love about the Lofts at Roberts?
