Serenity Heights- A Loving Home
My family will forever be grateful for the excellent care given by the staff at Serenity Heights. The home is extremely clean. My mother was a resident for almost three years and there was never a time when the house wasn't spotless and well organized. The atmosphere is one of a loving, cozy home. The meals are all homemade and tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Elizabeth and Yolanda are readily available to accompany clients to doctor's appointments for their loved ones. These women have extensive experience with dementia patients and make sure their caregivers are well trained. The residents come first and independence is always the goal. For example: If a resident needs more time than usual to dress themselves then they are not rushed. There are always opportunities for residents to feel that they are still contributing adults. I would highly recommend this lovely home.
this house was located down a rough road (almost like an alley) we didn't like the looks of it. Also the staff could barely speak English.
The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful. The home and landscape are beautiful. Everything and everyone is squeaky clean. The care is absolutely awesome. It is truly like being at home with the nicest family. Home cooked meals, games and more. My grandfather was there and I couldn't have been happier. I could not have cared for him better. He was loved, respected and treated with care and compassion. They listen and work with the individual, their family and doctors. The staff and other residents become your extended family. My grandfather passed away 6 months ago and myself and other family members still go back to visit. Go meet them and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Serenity Heights is about family and friends. We care for our residents just as they were a part of our own family with kindness and compassion. We provide care to recovering, disabled, and chronically or terminally ill persons in need of medical, nursing, social, or therapeutic treatment and/or assistance with the essential activities of daily living. You'll find Serenity Heights a breath of fresh air in a warm cozy environment. It is a place to call home.
"Serenity Heights has been a real blessing for our family. Our mother has been cared for in a very loving and gentle way. The staff has been so helpful to all of us. They communicate and cooperate with all medical providers and keep us inforemed. The type of services they provide can only be coming from people who sincerely care." "Thank you Liz and Yolanda for making our mother's time with you so pleasant" Sheila Linsky (Daughter) "Serenity Height is a wonderful board and care facility in Camarillo. After breaking a hip my mom who is 90, needed full time care, my family and I visited Elizabeth and Yolanda who are owners and caregivers of Serenity Heights, we felt totally at ease. They are truly caring and comapassionate people, and we are so thankful my mom is there! she loves it as well, and says they take good care of her!" Kathe (Daughter)
