My Family's experience
My mother was here the last months of her life. She was greeted by the friendly nursing staff and at first we were glad she had come to such a nice clean, well maintained place. She really did have some pleasant experiences there. However some of the staff soon made it known we were not welcome there. They made snide remarks about my sexual identity. I think they may have said something to my mother as well. I felt she was vulnerable in that place and made sure to visit often. That was one of the worst experiences in my life. And it is still on my conscience. I don't blame anyone, but that was my experience.
