Customer Reviews

Our elderly care system needs change!!!!

Only put one star because it’s required. My mother has been there for awhile. I years ago was a nurses aid myself so know how nursing homes should be and how they should treat human beings. I wouldn’t suggest this nursing home to anyone. The care is poor at best, there are people there who care about their jobs and care about the people most importantly but they are far and few, not nearly enough for the amount of people there. It’s understaffed of course and is run by incompetent people who shouldn’t be running a facility where people depend on them. And getting your loved one moved from a facility isn’t as easy as some would think there are many things that have to be considered and very few options. It’s a very poor broken system like many other things in life, many of these people are forgotten and no one pays attention and there are always people willing to take advantage of any situation and no doubt it goes on there. It breaks my heart every day she has to be in that place. She went in there for rehabilitation and two years later is still there and not walking two months prior she was fully functional and able to take care of herself, this shouldn’t happen to anyone and because most don’t have money they aren’t afforded the same care and respect. It’s very sad but it’s the truth that many don’t speak of and chose not to face. Maybe someone will read this and it will make a difference. Thank you. I write this in hopes of change not to point fingers at anyone.
