No interaction between independent and assisted floors
She just stayed in her room, we had a contract for one year so I had to wait it out before I could move her. They have an assisted living floor but we didn't feel that it was what we were looking for. We wanted her to be involved and to be a part of thing, here she would have been involved with just that floor but no one else. You have to make the choice to be with other people and she didn't want to be with other people unless she was with me and I had no way of making myself more available. The choice over here was to have an aid that would be the person to administer the drugs and I wasn't about to pay a big stipend to someone that was just going to have someone give her medicine.
