Customer Reviews

Erin who is the director acts like she to good to help anyone out
The life enrichment director is so lazy
The faculty is just treated wrong and residents they lie and say your parents are going to be tooken care of but they aren't.

High turnover

As far as appearances, it is clean. They have a horrible turnover with help, but I think it is that way at most places. The staff is friendly, but underpaid. As far as appearances they are above average. I think they have the basic problems that all retirement communities have.

We really enjoyed speaking with Melissa and found her to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, we felt that it wasn't quite right for my mom at this time. The residents seemed a good deal older and less 'with it' than my mom. The layout of the place made a lot of sense but it felt somewhat dull as far as decor/color/environment. I would like a place with more outdoor space to offer if possible.

I like the circular makeup so that memory care patients can walk and walk.

I think all the places we looked at were understaffed. There don't seem to be any activities on the floor where we are, I am not there all the time though and we don't get a calendar for activities. I would like to see a better staff to patient ratio, I would like to see more activities I would like to see them continually hydrate the patients. It's bright and airy and the staff is responsive to any concerns. I like the circular makeup so that memory care patients can walk and walk.

They have the same problem they all have it's hard to get good people on the evening and night shift.

They have the same problem they all have it's hard to get good people on the evening and night shift. The girls on days are a lot more caring than the one on swing shift. The location is the biggest problem, there is no parking to speak of. The places change management and they change employees, what you hear today could change tomorrow.

Further than he would like ...

Further than he would like from his home; it's thru crowded city streets. Rooms are small with little privacy and little option for more private rooms. Many residents were in central common room watching TV when we toured; they looked comfortable and happy; but no other activitiy going on at the time. Monthly fee includes incontinace.

Visited the facility on 8/14. Most residents appeared advance in their disease. Place was clean and maintained. Couldn't visualize L living here at this time.

Only shared room available. Nice facility--clean, smelled fresh. Residents were well groomed. Shower 3/week. Pet therapy, music 3/week. Four levels of care. Mom probably 2 or 3. 2 yr private care before Medicaid. Three floors--admin day care on first, level 4 care on second floor, more active residents on third floor.
