very good experience
They only have two other people besides my mother in the home. My mother would like to do some activities but the other two do not want to. That is one thing we are trying to work with them on.
Overall it has been a very good experience. My mother has had more confusion lately and needs more assistance and one on one personal care. She is at level three care. I think that they got used to having people that did not need as much care that they have had to get used to providing full service care again, but they have been very willing to work with us.

The place was small but cozy and very clean. There would be four residents with two bathrooms. I don't think it would be a good fit for my mother.

Community Center Assisted Living II has three residential homes for seniors in the Parkville, Maryland area. Our assisted living homes have spacious private rooms, electronic security, 24-hour caregiving on duty, professional medication management, cable tv, and private telephone access. Several vendors visit our facility regularly to perform interactive activities with our residents, and always, families are encouraged to participate. Our residents are served three delicious meals daily and two healthful snack times. Residents and families all enjoy the home like environment at Community Center Assisted Living II. Our residential living homes are smaller than centers for assisted living, which actually gives our residents more home atmosphere. They usually can eat in the kitchen if they choose, and some of our facilities have shaded porches where residents can enjoy sights and fresh air. Although our facilities are smaller, we employ a higher ratio of staff to resident than larger centers. Families always are reassured by that obvious asset. Residential care homes provide non-medical custodial care for elderly who do not need nursing care 24/7 but do need help in administering of medication, showering, meals and other activities. Community Care Assisted Living II in Parkville, MD provides: A room, private or shared All Meals Various individual levels of assistance in daily living: toileting, bathing, and even money handling and health care management Custodial care: laundry, housekeeping, and free transportation to doctor appointments Medication reminders/ medication administering. Our difference from larger facilities is that we offer and provide hands-on, personal one-on-one care.
