Customer Reviews

A great place for my mom

A wonderful community that took excellent care for my mom. She was happy there. The staff was outstanding in all areas. Wonderful meals with a good variety. She was happy with how clean her room was and the grounds outside were very well kept. Activities were great for her to participate. I highly recommend this to others for great care.

The staff at Bon Homie is very nice. The facility is nicer than some others I've seen, but I kind of wish it was a little more for the money we're paying.

From the Community

Bon Homie III Lena is an assisted living facility located at 2795 Lena Drive, San Jose, Ca. Bon Homie is assisted living which specializes in providing a safe and healthy environment for family members who suffer AlzheimerÆs or Memory Deficit. The large ranch style home is located on a quiet street and boasts a big backyard. Seniors are encouraged to exercise there as weather allows. Three meals and snacks are served daily to ensure proper nutrition. Putting a loved one in a nursing home is always difficult for family. However, if they wander away from their homes, or cannot live alone due to safety concerns or care deficits, that is one clue that they need closer supervision than you can provide. Another clue is your own state of mind. How about you as the caregiver for a parent or other family member? Ask yourself the following: Am I feeling fatigued from caring for my loved one? Am I experiencing feelings of depression, insomnia or a general lack of enjoyment my life used to give me? Do I need assistance in order to keep giving my senior family member attention in the ways that count: by visiting, taking them to family gatherings and to medical appointments? Then you might seriously consider the assisted living option as a positive value for both you and your senior citizen. For a safe and comfortable assisted living community, call Bon Homie III Lena at 408-448-0905.
