Given the nursing home alteernative , Arden Court was a blessing and helped our family tremendously in my dad's fight vs Alzheimers
Arden Courts of west Palm Beach, FL
Visited my 97-year old father at Arden Courts of West
Palm Beach, Florida. The entire staff could not have been nicer (and there were plenty of them). He is a chronic complainer and says everyone there is terrible and the food is awful, but he said the same thing when he was living at home. However, he is eating like a champ and never asked to leave. He also greeted staff members in a friendly way and that was reciprocated. The place is spotless and all of the patients appeared to be clean and well-cared for. Nearly every hour of the day is filled with activities, as well as verbal exercises and memory joggers and they have specialized staff to lead the patients.
I like the way the staff never seems to give up on interacting with the patients, even though many are well past being able to do so.
My only complaint is that no one has noticed that he needs to see a dermatologist and a dentist, but they promised to take care of that. If loved ones can't visit regularly, I recommend hiring a geriatric care manager to check periodically on the welfare and safety of the patient, no matter what facility they use.

We visited Arden Courts many times. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. We have recommended it to many people and friends, and a lot of those have moved their loved ones in. They are a very nice place.

Supposedly is more 'active' and the rate is slightly higher: $5,300/month $2,500 Move-in fee.

From the Office
Arden courts is specifically designed to enhance the life of those suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Our community model separates the living spaces into four different houses minimizing the amount of residents in each dining room and living room. Each house has the capacity for 14 residents. During the day we have a 7:1 ratio on each house.
Our biggest attribute is our comprehensive activities program that interacts with individuals at all cognitive levels. We have a variety of programs that include spiritual, social, creative and mental stimulation . There are even special outings to lunch, movies and plays.
