Mom is Happy Here
We chose this community because it's a easy drive for my dad and myself to visit as much as possible. Mom likes to hangout in the kitchen while they cook and the food is great. They have lots of activities like games they play with balloons for exercise and do some walking. The backyard and patio is nice and maintained she loves going out there. I would recommend this to my friends and family.
Talking to the owners, husband and wife, everything seemed to be very nice. The house was nice and well kept. We took our tour at 3 in the afternoon. Every single resident was in bed napping we were told. From the little glimps we got of the residents they looked quite out of it. First concern. Next since we only saw one care giver for 5 people we asked what happened while showering patients if someone else needed something. We were told there were always two care givers there. We never saw another one. Red flag two. It was 4 when we left and even though we were told the residents would be eating soon there was no one cooking anything and the kitchen looked unused. Concern number three. Even though questions were asked answers sometimes didn't come across. Too many concerns over care. Still looking.
At first we were pleased with what seemed to be a very dedicated staff. At the finalization of our transaction they attempted a bait and switch. Where were to be placed in a completely different room then we were shown and they tried to raise the price. This eventually led us to have to start our search all over again, we were devastated.
