Customer Reviews

I am very happy with the level of care provided by Greenfield. My mom has been at this community for 7 weeks now and she is well provided for and happy. She now has a circle of new friends and an active social life, something that had been lacking in her life for a number of years.

Extremely grateful!

My father has resided at this community a little over four months. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for the attentive and professional care they have demonstrated. He is really happy there and has made a number of new friends. There really is a feeling of community between staff and residents! Thank you!

Based on first impressions

I toured here when looking for a place for my dad. The rooms were medium sized with kind of mid-ranged ceilings; there was a private bathroom available but no kitchen. The facility was kept very clean and the interaction from the staff with my dad and I was very nice. The head nurse came by and gave my dad and evaluation during our tour and he was very informative and nice. They were getting ready for lunch when we were there and it seemed orderly. Ultimately we decided to go somewhere else mainly because of the pricing that was available.

Bad from the start

When we arrived for our tour the lady that met us said that there was a mess-up with the scheduling of our tour, never offered to reschedule our tour and informed us that if "we" wanted to look around on our own we were more than welcome to do so. She pointed down two hall ways and said go ahead. So we did do a short self-guided tour and left. And no we will not be back.

Smaller Community

My aunt was coming from a larger community and she wasn't really happy there so once we toured this community and saw that it was smaller we knew this was going to be the right fit for her. Since moving here my aunt is doing ok better than she was before still keeping to herself but the staff is slowly trying to ease her into social activities. The food is good well balanced. They keep the building clean and well maintained.

Nice, homey, didn't get a welcoming feel from the staff, however.

Smaller community!

My tour of the Greenfield of Fredericksburg went well. I took the tour a long time ago, so I don't remember much, but from what I do remember the place was clean and well maintained. Everyone I talked to was very nice.

Stop looking and see Greenfield

I visited three places in the Fredericksburg area and all were nice. Greenfield felt more like a family than the others did as it is one level with a smaller number of residents. The staff is outstanding. They really care about each person. Is it expensive ? Yes. These are my parents and I want the best for them. As survivors of the great depression and war verterans they earned it.

My parents are very happy there. They are treated with respect and dignity by the entire staff. Put a price on that. From day one the staff could not have been better. They keep me up to date as needed and I love the family events they have there. The food is good and they go the extra mile for the residents everyday. The onsite beauty shop keeps my Mom looking good. More activities there than you could ask for. I could keep going as there are so many nice things to say.

not impressed for the price.

Nice facility. Roomy common area. I didn't see a separate memory care area. Staff seems pleasant and great feedback from a family member I spoke with in the parking lot.

They were Excellent.

They were Excellent. The food was excellent a lot of the fresh vegetables they grow in their own garden during the warmer weather, that the residents could help with. I think they've got it down, over there. When you walk in you feel like your in somebodys home, it's a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Once you get past the main lobby they have a huge table with pictures from wedding services and things. It makes them feel like they are at home to see their pictures there.

Older residents

She decided that the people there were too old, but it was a nice facility. We liked it, the woman Rhonda over there answered all of our questions, D's mom went over and ate there and this is where she decided she wanted to go but after 3 days she jumped up and decided she didn't want to be there anymore. The crowd was a lot older and I don't think people were as outgoing but she really wasn't there long enough to give it a change. It may be something we have to look at again if things don't work out. As far as I know, the staff was always friendly, they seemed to do really well. She did complain that the food was cold over there and she acted like the staff was a little overwhelmed, I think they only had 2 nurses or 1, but other than that, I think it was okay. They worked really well with us but she just was the one that decided she didn't need to be there

Didn't follow-through

They were originally my first choice, but they promised they were going to do this and that, like the evaluation form and stuff like that and they didn't come through on that at all. They kept postponing things and making arrangements with the rehab
