Customer Reviews

Finally found "home".

My Mother was in the St. Albans facility for the better part of three years. My Mom has been in and out of many facilities and the Balance home is the only place Mom ever called home other than staying with one of her children.

Balance loved Mom. They kept her clean and safe. They got her to laugh and smile. They had the same caregivers consistently. Communication was very good between the owners and myself. I was also able to talk freely with the caregivers themselves for another perspective.

The staff also helped with getting supplies for Mom. They also would pick Mom up from the hospital when all of the family was out of town.

The house itself is also beautiful and full of light.

I write this review in gratitude for bringing Mom happiness in her last years. My only regret is that I had not found this wonderful home sooner.

I Enjoy The Staff

I'am confident about this type of care my mother is receiving at this community. The community is nice and clean. I enjoy the staff, they are caring for her very well. They do offer nice activities and the food is okay. It has been a nice experience and I would recommend it.

Balance Care is my choice

After touring five similar residential care facilities, this is the one I chose. They always have two caregivers on the premises. The facility is well lighted, meals are typical American cuisine, owners and staff are friendly and professionally dressed (caregivers in scrubs). They have planned activity times, and they consider the appropriateness of any television programming for their residents. Hospice workers who have visited have called to say how pleased they are with this facility. There is also internet access
