Customer Reviews

Good Experience Overall

This is a nice care home, and our tour of it went well. The home looked nice, and clean. The staff was nice, and treated us very kind. The experience was a decent one, but we did not feel this was the home for my in laws in their needs. We had a pleasant tour overall of the care home.

This is a wonderful community.

Providing My Mother with Excellent Care

This is a nice community, and my mother seems to have adjusted well to it. I know she is safe, and receiving excellent care. The staff is great, they are taking very good care of her. I work closely with the director whenever I have an issue, and she is very quick to respond, and fix the problem. There are activities through out the day for the residents. She likes the food, she says the meals are nice. I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. It is a good community, and I would recommend it.

Not completely dissatisfied!

Since moving my Grandmother into Unlimited Care she's had unlimited falls which resulted in her being hospitalized. I am not placing all of the blame on the staff for her fall but I do feel that if the staff can pay better attention and respond in a timely manner when they are needed. Prior to the fall she was enjoying her time there and I'm hoping that things will get better upon her return. The staff are nice and friendly but I also feel that they are not trained properly to deal with dementia and alzheimer's residents. I do like the fact that she was able to maintain some normalcy and get her nails and hair done. I can't say I wouldn't recommend.

I liked it.

This is one of the places we considered when we were looking for options for my dad. I liked it, and I really liked that they had a lift that would be useful for if he fell. It wasn't as aesthetically pleasing as other places I have looked at. But I did like that they had more men in the house than a lot of others I looked at. Fortunately we saw improvement in my dad, and a move is no longer necessary at this point, but I am keeping them in mind here.

Really liked the large available bedroom....didn't get costs. Buck was out. Very much like Mom's home.very impressed with caregivers....very welcoming and empathic. Staff didn't know about pets. Following up on costs, pets and formal evacuation plan with Buck.

Nice place, overall

Overall our experience here has been a good one! It's a very nice looking, clean, well kept community. The staff are all very friendly, and do a great job looking out for their residents! They don't have much in the way of activities, but that was not a focus of our search. One area I would like to see them improve is the food. It can be hit or miss in terms of quality, and the portions could be a bit bigger for evening meals.

Looks like enough staff. Can't afford at 3500/month

They were awesome!

They were immaculate. They were awesome! There is nothing bad to say about these people. I had nurses calling all the time. They always let me know if there were going to be changes to the schedule.

I think they are an awesome place for my mom because they were more of a home environment.

They were very clean.

They were very clean. I liked the meals. The staff was great. They had three or four houses in a row in the woodlands and they had a head nurse who would go from house to house and something like two staff members in each house, so the resident to staff ratio was very good. Staff sleeps in the house, and everybody had a call button. We really liked it.

Buck, one of the owners, truly has a gift for senior care. His wife, Terri, seems more concerned with the convenience of the staff than with residents' comfort and well-being. The facilities are lovely.

The home is on a busy street with a small concrete patio and a patch of grass. I found nothing terribly inviting about the home although a temporary resident told me nothing but good things about the home and caretakers.

Home in Forest Cove was very clean. Liked the set up of the house, with the exception that the living room was not really inviting. All residents were in their rooms, no one was out of their room. Seemed a little odd.

The Director did a great job of explaining the program. I felt he took pride in the job they were doing and they would do a good job taking care of my mom.

Residents appeared well cared for and happy Range of capabilities but overall higher functioning Personnel competent and caring - Friendly Staff included Nurse who works across the facilities. 2 staff 24 hours a day for six residents. $3800 per month, $3000 One Time Community Fee

We are also dedicated to continually meeting the thorough standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care for Personal Care Services. Our main goal is to assist our patients in retaining their independent living and to be a comforting resource to both the patients and their families during the length of time that our patients require health care services. Our registered nurses (RNÆs) assess patient care needs, perform skilled procedures and administer the prescribed medications. Aside from administering medications and performing procedures, our LPNÆs (licensed practical nurses) also carry out other duties as prescribed by the patientÆs doctor. Our certified home health aides are here to help with hygiene, housekeeping and other related tasks in the home or institutional facility. Our personal care aides are around to also help with errands and marketing. We also have a specialized Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) program, which is specially funded by Medicaid and is without waiver services for those who have been diagnosed with TBI and may need to stay in our facility for a lengthy period of time. The main goal here is to help those with TBI become independent and able to live in greater society again. The services include service coordination and case management; independent living skills training and development; home and community support services; respite care; community integration counseling; and arrangements for environmental modification, special equipment and supplies and community transportation.
