From the Office
The Granada features an elegant dining room serving three full meals per day, including a fresh salad bar for lunch and dinner, with all the service of a fully staffed restaurant. Dinner boasts a main entree and two alternates each evening with soup, salad and dessert. The Breakfast menu rivals any in the City, each item cooked to order.
Regularly scheduled field trips hosted by The Gray Line, one of San Francisco's most popular providers of sightseeing tours, is one of the highlights of The Granada's busy activity schedule. There are also recently released or classic favorite movies shown on the large screen TV three nights per week and bingo twice per week. For the more active, exercise classes are available two times per week. Or, if you prefer, a reading room with a variety of books and periodicals available for your reading pleasure. San Francisco Public Library visits regularly with its Library On Wheels.
The Granada is no stranger to throwing parties either. There is the monthly Birthday Party, all major holidays, and even picnic style food for the summer holidays. Every Friday before dinner "Happy Hour" treats the guests to cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and live piano music. Sundays bring premium ice cream and cookies during mid afternoon and Saturday afternoon is Game Time with prizes and gifts! A combo visits the residence regularly, providing music for dancing.
Other niceties include a beauty salon on the premises, in-house Laundromat, and room service.
Add to all this the fact that The Granada provides full maid service, 24 hour front desk/security, excellent proximity to shopping, transportation, theatre and other cultural events, and a major San Francisco hospital makes this retirement community a truly complete and affordable living alternative. By the way, NO BUY-IN IS REQUIRED and no deposit is needed. Ever. One month's rent is all that is needed to move into this easy-living community.
