The coffee is really good!!
The food is homemade and tastes really good. The staff are always friendly and courteous with us and always answers our questions. They have quite a few activities and my dad does participate in many of them. I would recommend this clean community.
Happy With Our Decision
Everything is going pretty good so far we are kinda in middle of transitioning my mother into the community. From what I've seen it's a very lovely community. It's very clean and doesn't have any foul smells. The staff has been friendly and helpful. We toured other places, but this place was great and we are happy with our decision.
Tom has been a resident for about one month. Our family is very pleased with his care. The staff have been wonderful.
He really likes the food. The facility is homey and always clear. He has his own room with a walk in closet and bathroom.
My only complaint sociability, Their are only three male residents and their communication is limited. However, Tom is happy there.
Finally, there's calm.
Finally, there's calm after a sleepless two weeks of upset! Mom hasn't been at Margaret's Meadows for very long, but we are pleased with how well she is being treated. Mom's arrival at Margaret's Meadows was due to a very stressful situation in her previous care facility, and the staff and management have been wonderfully supportive in this abrupt transition. I want to commend Carol Walker of A Place for Mom for her sincere concern, her professional expertise, and her proactive attitude. She is an asset to her organization. I want to also commend the owners and staff of Margaret's Meadows for their cheerful support.

From the Office
MargaretÆs Meadows specializes in providing memory and long term care and is conveniently located in central Michigan, only a few miles from the picturesque Mt. Pleasant and Lake Isabella. MargaretÆs Meadows prides itself on its clean and safe environment -one where the residents will feel at home while they are provided with the different stages of care the elderly may require. This beautiful facility offers all the personal support services that may be needed, including assistance in bathing, eating and dressing. For the convenience of the residents, MargaretÆs Meadows boasts the following onsite amenities: beauty and barber shop, AlzheimerÆs Unit, laundry service, religious services, and a laboratory which includes X-rays. In addition, this lovely facility provides the professional medical services of a licensed nurse on staff that oversees medication monitoring and administration, as well as a visiting podiatrist. MargaretÆs Meadows also offers respite care and, in the unfortunate event it becomes necessary, Hospice care. Residents can choose to either have a roommate or to have their own private room and meals may be taken in either oneÆs room, or in MargaretÆs Meadows elegant but comfortable dining room. All meals are home-cooked and promise to be nutritious and delicious. The creative menu offers seasonal selections and there is even a screened-in gazebo for outdoor grilling in the warm months. Dietary needs and food preferences of the residents are thoughtfully taken into consideration in meal planning. MargaretÆs Meadows is a warm and inviting place your loved one will love to call home.
