Customer Reviews

Level of care is felt to be limited. Not a lot of confidence in the caregiver understanding prescription directions. Not sure they understand the extent of patience needed to handle patients dealing with advanced stages of dementia/Alzheimer's disease. In speaking with resdents they feel the meals are lacking but it is hard to please everybody all the time..

owner is very resourceful

The owner of this facility was very resourceful. They got the medicine on time. The owner was really nice.

Robin Horga was extremely friendly, gave helpful information about the home and it's residents. The home is in an old part of Phoenix, off 43rd Avenue (busy street). Residents seemed friendly. One communal bathroom for 4 residents to share. Private room that was available was small, no closet. Back yard butts up to a gravel alleyway, visible through a chain link fence. A little bit depressing looking. Although I liked the people, I was not thrilled with the accommodations and could not picture mom being comfortable there.

Robin, in charge of the housing, was very helpful and resourceful. I only lived there a week and she helped me to adjust when getting out more than I can possibly thank her. :)

Great Owner!

I would have to say, going into this, not a lot of people know what they need ot do or how to do it. Working with Robin, the owner of Maryvale Terrace, has helped me a lot. She accommodates you in every way. They're very friendly and they help with anything you need help with and let you know how the process is supposed to work.

I chose the community because I toured and it was clean and the staff was nice. It was in a convenient area for me.

My great aunt, who lives there, is still in her transition period. She did say that Nick, the husband of the owner, cooks well.
