Customer Reviews

Beautiful, well decorated building but did not care for the location. Still, it was quiet within and you could not hear the busy street outside. Small assisted living population vs memory care and those residents who were out and about didn’t seem to be communicating with each other. Good sized apartments and friendly staff. Mom was impressed overall.

Not recommended.

Great care and excellent value

Care is dependent on caregivers. The management and staff at Sunrise at Siegen were as fine a crew as could be expected. My spouse was served by hospice personnel in addition to the nursing staff at Sunrise, and the nursing care was excellent overall. Any problems encountered were attended to quickly. The experience of the entire staff was evident in their knowledge of each of the residents and how to manage the diverse needs of the entire community. I tend to grade more harshly than some others, but this facility's staff, while not perfect, really tries to provide excellent service to every member of the community.

I toured this community.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. This was a beautiful place. But this wasn't a good fit for my dad he is bedridden and they couldn't meet his needs. They offered a lot of activities. I would recommend families tour many communities first before making a decision.

Worth Every Penny

Sunrise at Siegen is fantastic. The people at Sunrise have been so good to my mother, and I can't say enough good things about them. Both the staff and the residents are friendly and happy, and they've really adopted my mother. The food is very good here, and I love that they have several little dining areas set up that are like being in restaurants. They have a drink bar with water, coffee, tea, juice, and fruit available all day. The community itself is cheerful, bright, and clean with fantastic decorating. This place is like walking into someone's home. It isn't at all like an institution. We have been so satisfied that Sunrise is working so well for us, and I feel that it is worth every penny.

We have some issues to iron out...

We are somewhat displeased with my loved one's stay. We are just having issues with communication between staff, nurses and family members. I am also concerned that I haven't received important information or documentation concerning my loved one's stay. If these issues were ironed out, my loved one would have a much easier time here.

Nice place $6000 a month was beyond my means.

Liked The Tour But Not The Set Up For Memory Care

I liked it and it was nice. My sibling and I had to agree on a place. This community had a floor for Dementia people that was upstairs and my sisters were not happy with that. It was not how we wanted the care to be set up.

A nice community!!!

Mom was here for a short time. She fell and the staff was not aware she had a broken hip. I think they may be a little under staffed. The community was larger than we liked. They do keep the community clean.

A Positive Experience

It has been a positive experience so far for us here at Sunrise. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful to my husband and his needs. He enjoys to go work out in the morning, that is just one of the activities they offer here. It was a easy move in process and very low stress, they made the process go very smoothly. I would recommend this community because it is a caring warm place to move your loved one to.

My mother has only lived at Sunrise for a few weeks but the care and compassion that they have shown to aid in her transition from her home to Sunrise has been phenomenal.
My mother's being around other seniors and being cared for in a safe, comfortable setting has been a godsend for our entire family!

We toured this. Very nice.

Outstanding care

Excellent care. Management is outstanding. Lots of activities and the food is great. I feel very comfortable turning care of my parents over to all the caregivers. Well worth the money to know your loved ones are well care for.

Extremely caring and friendly staff

They make her feel great, I don't know if she even knows where she is but she's happy all the time, they play with her, they talk to her, there's someone there to talk with her all the time. They do what they can with activites, they exercise them in the morning and they'll do a big piece puzzle but sometimes she'll just grab their hand and start dancing so they'll dance with her instead.
I'm so impressed with having her there, it's so much better than having her home, we can't provide the same entertainment they do. They know her by name and she's always smiling, they're just so friendly and it's been great. I feel like they've become so familiar with her case and her personality, I just feel like the really have gone above and beyond.
