staff are so friendly and caring
I think the staff are so friendly and caring at Stratford Home. I appreciate that a lot. The overall care and concern from them is very good. I think he is doing just fine at this facility. There isn't anything I would have them improve on at this time.
It has been a wonderful place
It has been a wonderful place. My mother is doing much better there than the long term care she was at. The owner is really a fantastic person. We're very happy with the care that we receive there.
So far, I am very pleased. People are very friendly and knowledgeable.
From the Office
Stratford Home is a home plus facility located on the East side of Wichita, Ks. The home, itself, was built in 1964 in a quiet community located near several ammenties. The facility was remodeled in 2011 to accomodate the needs of elderly persons seeking a home-like atmosphere and help with daily activities. The facility officially opened in May of 2011 and can house six live-in residents and six adult daycare residents. Currently, Stratford Home is not part of a chain but independently owned. 24-hour licensed staff are available to help with any task an elderly person may have trouble doing alone. The mission of Stratford Home is to provide safe and efficient patient-centered care while attaining respect and dignity for each resident. The smaller setting at Stratford Home allows patients to receive more individualized care while also creating a "family" like atmosphere for not only residents but for staff and family members as well.
