Sound View Senior Living is located in Steilacoom, Washington. This is a shore community that is close knit and tends to have a lower crime rate than the surrounding areas. We take the necessary steps in order to assure the safety of all our residents in order to help them feel safe and secure in a friendly, warm atmosphere. We are a family that cares for one another. We are an assisted living facility which means we try to maintain the highest levels of resident independence as possible. Sometimes though senior citizens do not help with more personal matter like bathing and using the bathroom, but even in these circumstances the highest level of dignity and freedom is maintained. Steilacoom is a beautiful community that offers many historical sites. We strive to make day trips to these sites so that our residents can enjoy the community and what it has accomplished. Many beautiful parks and outdoor venues can be used for relaxing, slow walks and even catching sight of some of the local birds. Our facility is located within five miles of three major hospitals, all of who have rated well above average with Medicare standards and state mandates. While we make every attempt to keep our prices for care low, some may still have some issues with payments, and there are avenues that can be explored to help with this. We want every senior citizen to have the best care and do what we can to help in every way possible.
