Yesteryear House The Yesteryear House is a residential care home located in Beautiful Hayward Park, California. Located on the peninsula of CaliforniaÆs beautiful Bay area, residents can expect breathtaking scenery and the mild climate the coast is known for. San Mateo is centrally located between several large cities including San Francisco and Oakland while keeping its small town feel and offers views of the forest as well as the Pacific. We believe that are known for encouraging residents to stay active, independent and social in a spirit of cooperation. Our facility is located in two buildings with large rooms, a spacious dining hall where our residents enjoy home cooked meals together. We celebrate every holiday and birthday as we would in our own home. Community is very important to us and our residents are encouraged to engage in games, entertainment, exercise, and frequent walks in flower gardens and patios. Our residents have access to grooming, shuttle transportation, housekeeping, assistance with personal tasks, and emergency care. We strive to make the residence at the Yesteryear house feel comfortable, respected and independent.
