Customer Reviews

Review of Warm & Cozy - Maya

There are some real positives to Warm and Cozy, being a new facility it is very comfortable and clean, and the meals were homemade and seemed very good. Having a direct connection to the pharmacy was very helpful and they did a good job. The staff was kind and did the best they could. One of the not so positive aspects to the home was a lack of activity. They did not encourage or utilize the space they have to create any activities (physical). They only have two people on with 15 residents and as long as they can get around on their own its fine. No outside outings were arranged while we were there. To be fair they did bring in old time bands to play in the home which was great. The problem we had is that as our mother's health declined they were not equipped to serve her needs. If you are able to get around on your own this is a fine place, but again no stimulation. The workers are very busy with chores and don't seem to have enough time to work with the residents.
