Enjoy the Performing Arts

There are several performing arts venues in San Antonio. The Alameda Theater opened as an ornate movie theater in the 1940s, and at one time, it was the largest theater in the country dedicated to Spanish-language entertainment. Today, it is capable of housing performing arts media, such as concerts, opera, full Broadway productions, film, dance, theater, and television. In addition, the San Antonio Symphony calls the Majestic Theatre home.

The San Antonio Museum of Art has more than 20,000 objects in its collection and maintains extensive collections of Latino, ancient, and Asian art. There is also a memorial to the fallen soldiers at the Alamo.

Experience the Many Outdoor Attractions
